Complete solution for Marketing, Sales and Support
What do you like best about the product?
I have never seen such a flexible application with can interact and integrate with multiple other applications. It has complete Marketing, Sales and Support feature which is sufficient for any company to start with. They can modify the functionalities implement their business workflows.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is cheaper and having many child products created from its community edition are available in the market now. But they still can't match the core features of SugarCRM and lack of functionality, workflow, and other standard features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving Sales, Marketing, and Support business problem of our customer by implementing SugarCRM as a solution.

Great CRM
What do you like best about the product?
How easy it is to use and how it works with other software we use

the customer support team is not very help when things dont work

Organizing all of customer data , like phone numbers, email address, HQ locatation, etc

Reporting and ease of entry. Configuration based system makes it easy to adopt to any business domain
What do you dislike about the product?
User interface is not so good. Gives a feeling of being from some premintive stage product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collect leads and manage them across various stages
Having your own instance is better than using their platform online.
What do you like best about the product?
We used to use the online open-source platform, but when we did, we were at the mercy of their updates. We now run our own instance on Sugar on our servers and it works well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Customization can be complicated depending on what you want to change. You can change smaller things on your own, but we use an IT team to take on the more complicated changes. Another issue for us now that we're on our own instance is developing an app -- This would cost a fair amount of money to develop.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps keep our traveling Project Managers on track. Using the Log Call and Schedule Meeting functions, we can keep them going even when they're on the road.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Worth a look... Good for smaller businesses... I imagine when you are a bigger company, you might need more functionality and integration capabilities. We also have a company that is split between Macs & PCs, so getting both to speak with Sugar and our email has proven to be somewhat difficult.

The platform has everything you need, but is not smooth and is very slow.

It’s slower than salesforce but gets the job done

The software is easy to use and doesn’t require much, if any training.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sales Connect is slow and when a page refreshes, customized views are lost.
