Conga Customer service shines like their product.
What do you like best about the product?
The template builder makes is very easy to build templates, excel, work and pdf. Their customer service is extremely helpful and attentive anytime I have contacted them.
What do you dislike about the product?
We use this to generate quotes and have had the need to use formulas within tables that are located in a Word doc. Conga composer does not like formulas in Word.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have users outside of salesforce that are looking for very detailed reports in a specific format. With the help of Conga Customer service I have been able to create an excel template that includes formulas and automatic formatting. HUGE TIME SAVER

Great tool for customizing reports
What do you like best about the product?
Love that you can customize the output of your reports from Salesforce into a clean, professional template to match your business letterhead.
What do you dislike about the product?
It does take some learning to understand the parameters.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating professional templates for sales management and purchasing. They like the clean and easy to read template created outside of Salesforce's printable view.
Creates flexible and professional outputs
What do you like best about the product?
Flexibility of the tools to mimic outputs fairly well from other programs. The overall look of the resulting documents we of a high quality.
What do you dislike about the product?
The older tools only let you use the fields from SFDC from the exact object you relate the tool. It was sometimes a challenge to get what you needed on the resulting form.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Quick contract outputs and internal forms driven from SFDC objects and processes.

What do you like best about the product?
I am pretty new to Conga Composer, but I love that it saves me time! Because of it's integration with Salesforce, I just simply upload my templates with Conga template and it pulls the fields I need out of my Salesforce instance to create documents that are ready to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
hmmmm.... I guess if I had to come up with something it would be the pop-up window to create the template has a button that says I can go return to the opportunity, but it doesn't take me back to the original window...it just keeps a new window opened.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a non-profit we send thank you letters out to our donors and Conga Composer makes that effortless. In addition, I have realized that there is an array of options when creating documents for different needs.
Great document generator
What do you like best about the product?
We use Conga in combination with our Salesforce database and it is a great tool to get pretty formatted documents out of the system. We use it with donors, our board of directors, and staff.
What do you dislike about the product?
Takes a bit of work to get the buttons setup, but easy steps to follow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making factsheets for distribution to staff with easy to read layout. Super time savings since people don't have to look through all the fields in our database, just the key items. Also being able to add logos and other customization is great.
Conga Composer
What do you like best about the product?
Customization of templates is easy using the template builder. I also like that composer pulls in the salesforce fields we decide we want on the documents.
What do you dislike about the product?
When I do need to speak with a support person, sometimes it takes a day to get a callback.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use composer to standardize our draft and final contacts so all have a professional look. All users now present the same look, which allows us to look polished.

What do you like best about the product?
Conga is very user friendly for me as an admin as well as for the sales reps and contract team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can't think of anything at this time! Conga has been a great tool and we are looking at adding Conga Contracts, which is something that will truly improve productivity.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Conga Composer allows the reps to create a client/prospect-facing quote/proposal in minutes with very little, if any, formatting. The contract team can do the same when creating the contracts. We just create our templates and that makes it seamless for the team. Makes me a happy admin!
Conga is GREAT for automating our forms and reports!
What do you like best about the product?
Conga is a flexible solution for pulling together data scattered throughout Salesforce.com and putting it a form format that our users are used to using.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing at this point. It meets our business requirements.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Conga Composer to automate our internal business forms and create email templates that we send out to our customers. This saves us the manual keying of duplicative data that already resides in Salesforce.com.
Streamlining of Quotes and Contracts with Conga Composer
What do you like best about the product?
Easy Document generation, robust automation capabilities. Integration with both Salesforce & DocuSign for delivery of contract documents to customers. Easy administration of the system.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not really an aspect of Conga that I do not like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Conga enables our business to quickly and easily create and send customer quotations as well as contract documents through Salesforce. We've also integrated it seamlessly with DocuSign which has resulted in a much faster process for closing business and processing sales orders.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Conga Composer 8 is its seamless integration with Salesforce. Conga queries make it easy to pull & render data from our standard & custom objects such as contracts and meeting minutes that bring it right into Powerpoint, PDF or Word. Create a custom link or button and canned reports are easily generated from live data. Before Conga, we used visualforce then exported to Excel or Word, which was particularly inefficient. Conga Composer produces beautiful, rich, branded reports we use on a daily basis.
What do you dislike about the product?
Template builder could be sightly more user friendly, but that is nit-picking. There are features we are not yet taking using. So I'm still learning...
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sales and Admin efficiency gains and click of a button rendering of documents. FTE reduction resulted within 3 months of implementing Conga
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Conga pricing model is user based - perhaps pricing could be reduced by number of templates or events perhaps.
