Great Product
What do you like best about the product?
The speed of document generation by Conga Composer. Website is very informative.
What do you dislike about the product?
Difficult to debug. Also, too many releases in a short time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Generate combined PDFs.

Great Tool for Document Generation and Automation
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate that Conga Composer can create a professional-looking document using our existing Salesforce data and tailor it to only include the information needed for that sale/opportunity. I recently discovered use cases for Conga Queries and the Table:Hide functions, and these have really helped us bring our contract creation and delivery process to the next level.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of this might be Word-related, but the templates seem pretty finicky. Trying to add a bulleted list within a Conga Template, or get the spacing "just right", takes a great deal of trial and error.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Contracts used by several of our sales teams are now automatically created and delivered via DocuSign by our Conga Solution in Salesforce Lightning. This saves our sales reps from having to enter information in multiple places on multiple systems in order to generate a contract. They can track and close their entire sales opportunity lifecycle within Salesforce.
Makes Salesforce so easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
Love that I can use it to create templates for Word, Excel, Email, etc. Makes the creation of sales documents so quick.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of my frustrations with Conga is creating the email template layouts. I wish there was a little more flexibility in setting up the margins.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can now take the data we have in Salesforce and populate documents we use frequently. Such as creating an invoice or creating a work order.
Excellent onboarding and support
What do you like best about the product?
I found Conga Collaborate to be easy to administer, and Conga's professional services to set up the product with Salesforce and their ongoing support have been terrific.
What do you dislike about the product?
UX is good, but could be even simpler for occasional users. We have a major challenge with adoption, so anything Conga can do to make the product so intuitive, friction-less and mistake-proof that even a 6-year old can do it would be greatly appreciated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Conga Collaborate has saved our pre-sales engineers about 75% of their time generating Statements of Work, so it's been a major productivity improvement. The system also ensures our field people use only correct, approved document versions as a starting point. That's harder to quantify, but the increase in consistency and quality ripples through the organization and saves a significant amount of frustration, rework, and customer ill will downstream.

What do you like best about the product?
The Conga Support Team is in a league of their own. They are truly one of the best support groups I have ever had the privilege of working with.

I want to be able to use the advanced editor in lightening

What do you like best about the product?
Composer is amazing. Being an independent agent, its tough to build brand recognition when everything is branded with the carriers info, not the agency. Composer allows us to create a proposal that leaves the impression of the agency branding, not the companies we write business through.
What do you dislike about the product?
It took a while to get up to speed on the technology (Multiple Q&A calls through implementation and sustainability)

Great tool for Salesforce
What do you like best about the product?
It saves time for salesforce users when creating documents, before they were forced to copy and paste values from salesforce to a text editor.
What do you dislike about the product?
You can not customize so much the email generated when working with conga composer and conga sign.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Saving time, this allows users to spend time in other tasks.

Onboarding Document Creation
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to add a custom button in Salesforce for our employees to quickly send an onboarding overview document. This includes discussion points, goals, etc. from our kickoff calls.
What do you dislike about the product?
No major concerns. We have a unique setup and being able to send a document would be easier which Conga does but it won't work with our use case.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Streamlines our onboarding process to quickly deliver an email with expectations for us and our clients.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you want easy document creation or email deliverability directly from Salesforce I would recommend. Especially since Salesforce emails are fairly simplistic. This product allows full document/email customization via html, etc.
Saves loads of time and effort with document generation
What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility of being able to design our own templates in MS Word, Powerpoint and Excel and extract the necessary fields of data where we want it and how we want it all at a click of a button is fantastic.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a bit of a learning curve and for new hires in our team with no prior experience using conga, it requires a great deal of hands-on training. The documentation and resources available through the various conga support channels are great, but difficult to navigate for the inexperienced that don't necessarily know what to look for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We primarily are using it to auto-generate documents such as proposals, agreements and program summaries - all of which are completed with a click of a button on their appropriate object pages in Salesforce.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take the time to go through the documentation. It will help you identify new ideas and ways of using the tool.
