Great Product, Onboarding and Support
What do you like best about the product?
The platform is very flexible from the programming standpoint and allows us to create a highly customized output document from Salesforce CPQ.
What do you dislike about the product?
Have not experienced any downsides as of yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our use case is a highly customized output from Salesforce CPQ and Conga has allowed us to accomplish this through their platform. Conga support has been amazing when we've needed additional assistance.

What do you like best about the product?
We have been using conga for years. It is very easy to use. We just need to merge the fields that are in the report to the template. And then Conga will do the job for us.
What do you dislike about the product?
Have to open a case if we encounter some issue with the product. Whenever we have a template issue. We have to go to the website and open a case. A technician will contact us latter and walk us thru the steps to fix the issue. Sometimes one call is not enough, we have to schedule another call.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
great product. If it is a start up company, better start with the right direction and map out everything first before implementing any product, otherwise modifying during the production will cause a lot of issues going forward. Having a new system is very hard. Therefore mapping things out is very critical and important for every single user. This applies to Conga as well. We created few reports for the template purposes. Those reports keep getting updated because there are more and more elements we need to consider as time goes on. Almost 80% time when we change the report, there will be an issue happen to random users. Therefore I highly recommend think as many possibilities as possible in the very beginning, so that you can eliminate the chance of changing what is built in the future.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use for anyone that has basic computer knowledge. I love the way all merge fields bring in the information from Salesforce from multiple objects and custom objects as well. Has many options of protection for documents generated and all. Really versatile program with many options to users. Feature options at each document generating for export format is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to be able to have it work with excel too.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Document generating for service business, full contracts generation and great customization.

Great product ready for use right away, this is the easiest integration we've had and the most versatile.

What do you like best about the product?
No coding required as a developer. We have a lot of options to give a highly customized solution by point and click
What do you dislike about the product?
Less features for excel format compared to word

Getting data from multiple objects
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are confused and want to do document generation, go for conga composer rather than visualforce . It is much easier and applies to wider scope
Complex projects made simple
What do you like best about the product?
The tool is diverse, and it's able to satisfy a variety of business needs. It's also fairly easy to setup and implement new solutions quickly. The support staff is fantastic!

Making changes can be clunky if you're using Conga Conductors with the Composer solution to automate the creation of the documents.

We are able to easily pull data from different objects and return the information in a single nice looking document.
Excellent Product for Document Generation on the Salesforce Platform

The support team is excellent! I love recommending Conga to all my clients!

Nothing. The support is fantastic and so is the product!

Clean reports in a pdf that has a 360 degree view of a customer.

Ever since Octive was bought by Conga, we've noticed a *considerable* quality drop in customer support. We really had the best support with Octiv and we hope that that's on the roadmap for improvement with Conga.

Supplying and tracking quotes for bigger leads who need to present proposals internally before they buy.

I like the ability to create documents and incorporate Salesforce fields.

There's a high learning curve so it takes a while to get up to speed.

We're able to use a template to generate documents for specific accounts in our Salesforce database.

It allows to create any type of document that you need to send out in a matter of few clicks.

Wait for document to load, create queries to bring objects or fields
