What do you like best about the product?
Conga Composer is one of the easiest Dynamic pdf generating platform. It has the capability to get the data from Salesforce as well as External data sources. The accuracy & the elegance of the Product is so good that no other product can match its excellence.
What do you dislike about the product?
While integrating with external data sources the Authentication types are very limited. It does not support oAuth at all while most of the external APIs are authenticated with oAuth. Also each external data source it to convertad into an "oData.svc" formatted API by Mulesoft.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Conga Composer is currently solving our one of the biggest problem which is to generate the pdf with the External Data without even storing it into the Salesforce Environment.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Conga Composer is the ease with which it creates the documents and the reports. It fits well with Salesforce as is a big plus as we can fetch data from there straight and fill in templates that are tailored to our needs with no effort. It has been helpful for us as it takes a lot of time for preparing contracts, invoices and providing proposals. The ability to produce custom document outputs is great and there is less chance of mistakes which has been a huge productivity gain.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest issue users face while working with Conga Composer is quite often setting up the package and customizing templates. In situations where the documents use numerous dynamic fields, It may be very time consuming to fine tune everything to ones’ liking. There is also some problem with Salesforce integration, sometimes it does not refresh data to update current changes you may find yourself dealing with a delay or manually correct the whole thing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Conga Composer has been very useful in addressing the issue of slow and sometime wrong document creation. It takes data from Salesforce and downloads it to templates we create, which eliminates the need to input data for contracts, proposals and reports. This has cut down greatly on mistakes made by personnel and has earned the company several hours’ gain on a weekly basis. The real value is that our team can spend time on higher level tasks, and the consistency of our documents can be achieved without routine manual effort.

In my case, there are a few things I like about Conga Composer especially because of the fact that they can merge documents directly from Salesforce. I use it to type contracts and proposals which has minimized mistakes and the time taken to do the work since the program formats the documents to look professional. It is especially easy to use when dealing with a lot of data and being able to compile presentable and professional documents has been a significant added advantage.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that I find uncomfortable in Conga Composer is how somehow challenging the process of customizing templates could be especially when one is initializing the program. The steps taken to set up the device do not include any clear instructions, which may be frustrating for some users. However, when dealing with big data, the software may slow down, and this slows down document generation. Some of these have sometimes interfered with my productivity and caused me some frustration.

The largest benefit Conga Composer provides is an enhanced and efficient automation of generation of sophisticated documents, which gather data from Salesforce. This has alleviated the problem of time consuming document preparation whereby we are now able to produce proposals and contracts within a relatively shorter duration than before. Consequently, the efficiency of the team has risen, and the resources were freed up to be better invested in various business endeavors rather than in paperwork.

What is our primary use case?
We use Conga Contracts, Conga Composer, Conga Grid, and Conga Orchestrate. We have a business all over the world, and due to currency symbols, alphabetical changes, logos, and entity names, we need to build a formula where the template remains the same but the contract terms are different for various countries.
Another use case is loss tracking, where we track transactions and collections through Salesforce with Conga Composer and Conga Contracts. We also handle the contract signing in Adobe, which integrates with Conga, storing signed contracts in Salesforce, Check Point, and Amazon S3.

Conga Composer has made the contract signing easy and streamlined. Previously, we had a team of five people reviewing contracts, which is now reduced to two, thus optimizing resources.

What is our primary use case?
In the project, we were generating a PDF based on the insurance, creating the contract form and agreements, and sending that PDF to the customer by merging all the information from Salesforce.
We installed all the packages of Conga Composer into Salesforce and integrated them to pull all the information from Salesforce to the PDF and then sent those PDFs to the customers.

I like that Conga Composer allows for the generation of PDFs according to specific requirements by creating templates and pulling all the information added into those fields. I did not try multiple features; I just generated PDFs by merging fields and creating templates. If any improvement is needed, I would raise a case with Conga Composer for those features.
