Workato has allowed my clients to vastly improve the time it takes to implement integrations
What do you like best about the product?
By far, Workato has been the most intuitive integration tool that my clients and I have worked with. This allows for extremely fast deployment timeframes for projects ranging from smaller/tactical high value integrations to very large/complex critical path integrations. We have not run into anything that we cannot find a solution with using Workato, even when limitations are brought forth by the platform API's we are working with.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have not run into any blockers using Workato as a key integration tool. Any hurdles that we have encountered are usually due to other platform limitations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have solved business problems extremely fast using Workato. We've benefited from the sheer speed of deployment for smaller, high value projects by building n the fly with business stakeholders when needed. We've also benefited from functionality like callable recipe's when real-time integrations are required. Other functionality like Recipe Ops and intuitive error handling allow us to monitor our processes to ensure they are running smoothly.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Ensure that your business stakeholders understand the value of Workato- be agile and ensure that they are not hesitant to be directly involved with the development of Workato recipes. They do not need to build recipe's but they are easily understandable to a business user so that they can identify any issues or identify enhancements on the fly.

Workato has helped us be able to sync our two CRM's with very minimal issues! We love it!
What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that the customer service is very friendly and are willing to help as much as needed!
What do you dislike about the product?
There are still some issues with syncing, not nearly as many as before, which require an additional fee to fix.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have two CRMs that are supposed match when auditing our client's accounts. Workato has helped tremendously when making sure payments are syncing to both CRMs when they are applied! It really helps making our audits easier and quicker!
Simply An iPaaS/Integration Powerhouse!
What do you like best about the product?
Recipes feel structured like code (if blocks, loops, try/catch), but are super accesible from any skill set. POCs for integrations can be built out and tested within minutes, often in the meeting they are being conceptualized.
A huge library of preconfigured connectors for Enterprise apps, but the HTTP connector is robust as well for most APIs.
The ability to actually build logic around errors istead of tossing everything into the same bucket makes intergration management more effective and less tidious.
Every other week or so we find ourselves discovering something else that expands what we can do with Workato (SQL tables on the fly, ability to use customer code in recipes, etc).

What do you dislike about the product?
No major complaints. Would love to have a bit more flexiblity with how to mark an error resolved, a simple 'resolved' flag instead of having to rerun a job to clear out the queue would be great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Integrating Salesforce, Netsuite, Slack, Okta, S3, Jira, Slack, ServiceNow, Custom Endpoints, the list goes on. Pretty much have been able to point what we want to where we want with no major hurdles.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
We were able to knockout, migrate and improve ~100 integration (recipes involving numerous branches of logic) from a prior iPaaS solution to Workato in just 2 months, which I think this is a pretty solid benchmark for how intuative and flexible Workato is. The platform allows you to be super nible and broad with your integrations, with the ability to build them out in hours not months.
Very powerful and easy to use - our go to integration tool
What do you like best about the product?
The consumer like ease of use of Workato allows us to rapidly build out very complex integrations without being beholden to an army of developers or partners in our portfolio of companies. Additionally, our data enrichments pipelines used to be batch and offline in R/Python scripts... those are now being replaced with real time enrichment with Workato as the integration layer to many different APIs
What do you dislike about the product?
We have had no negative experience so far
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- Replacing custom integrations with commercial applications and reducing our tech debt
- Reducing manual work copying data from system to system
- bring out machine learning models into production through easily created APIs and integrations
- rapid development and data enrichment for our data science team

Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're concerned about the subscription model, don't be... you will easily pay more for other tools or custom integration with all of the development support required from partners and rebuilding
Great way to connect Salesforce to Eventbrite or Google Sheets
What do you like best about the product?
Workato makes it pretty easy to connect Salesforce to Eventbrite in a way that is much more useful than Eventbrite's off-the-shelf (free, never updated) connector. Their recipes are easier to maintain than custom code.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd really like for schema updates that don't effect the recipe to not require me to refresh all the recipes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're bringing in accurate, real-time information about event signups, payments, and attendance. This saves us lots of time in uploading data in batches, and lets our event staff have more accurate data.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The customer support is really outstanding.
Workato
What do you like best about the product?
Workato is a really good integration tool - you can integrate with slack to automate some of your manual tasks
What do you dislike about the product?
Not very intuitive - still require a minimum knowledge in coding
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Integration
Great for automating the unknown!
What do you like best about the product?
The product has been great for providing key integrations with services that wouldnt normally interact with one another, which provides a lot of capabilities that you couldnt have otherwise
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much I dislike, but understanding how to get up and running at first can be a challenge, but once you understand it is a powerful product
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workato had been able to help with easing user interactiong with various services such as service-now and salesforce which has increased productivity from the user base
Pleasant, modern integration experience with cutting edge + enterprise integrations
What do you like best about the product?
As our customers started using SaaS applications, integrating them with the enterprise workflows became important. This product offers easy integration modern ecosystem that lot of cloud native applications are gravitating towards. Offers the right blend of enterprise friendliness with the touch of consumer friendly simplicity. It is not a substitute for enterprise integration products yet, but meets my needs for modern integrations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the integrations I would like to see are not present: for instance, I can't integrate with whatsapp, which is being used by some of our SMB users. Adding new recipes is easy -- adding new end points takes some effort (to be fair, I know it can be even more difficult). The SDK takes a bit of getting used to. The community recipes are good to learn from, but, I wish for better discussion and training to create complex workflows.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ability to integrate into modern consumerized services in the enterprise context. For instance, our customers, instead of fighting with internal users, managed to bring Dropbox into the enterprise workflows. With low investment, they managed to create efficient workflows that usually takes long projects and budgets.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are thinking of creating modern consumerized IT, with new ecosystems (SaaS services etc), workato is a great product to consider. Easy to use, low cost, and fast to market. Focus on your use cases and see how much you can leverage existing connectors. It is great tool for cloud native application development.
Best product for integrations and automation
What do you like best about the product?
Fantastic support -- providing technical guidance on streamlining workflows
What do you dislike about the product?
We found a few anomalies when creating recipes, but Workato is always quick to resolve our issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automating several business processes
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Check out the community recipes
Workato makes developing integrations a joy ! Its game changing
What do you like best about the product?
I love the fact that in a few minutes I can get an integration built which is robust and fault tolerant. I like all the tools they provide to help you debug and develop additional functionality like the custom sdks.
I like that they have a lot of the key connectors we use like Salesforce, NetSuite, Workday, S3, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, etc
I also love the support I get from the team developing new functionality or looking into any issues.

What do you dislike about the product?
There is not much to dislike! I guess they have so much functionality sometimes new people using it don't know about it so figuring a way to bundle sets of recipes to get started on could be good. They do write really good blog posts and documentation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Worflow automation via Slack and integrations between our enterprise applications.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
We compared Workato to Mulesoft and Boomi. Mulesoft is good for developers and a more SOA architecture. We needed a tool which works for analysts and end users as well. Workato provided this and also gave us lots of time to do evaluation and understand our use cases. Workato's pricing is fantastic given that you get umlimited compute power and the connector charges are reasonable for all that you get. Workato was reviewed by our security team and was able to pass all of the tests to make sure they are safe and security compliant. We use SSO with Workato.
