Best Integration Platform and a world-class support team
What do you like best about the product?
The platform offers features to kick-off integrations really fast, and in combination with their support team, accelerates the creation of company-wide integrations. Besides that, they have a Connector SDK and HTTP connectors that allow to connect to anything that implements API Keys, oAuth, among other forms of authentication.
What do you dislike about the product?
In the beginning, they had this billing model that charged you by connection. This was highly restrictive and in our case, was against the potential this tool had for us. Then they changed to a recipe-based model, that allowed us to have more than 40 recipes integrating several areas of the company.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Besides the need for integration of several applications such as Salesforce, BambooHR, Greenhouse ATS, Quickbooks; The main problem we are solving is the need to have a team of developers dedicated to Digital Transformation. Since we are a Software Development Company, the developers we have are usually dedicated to our clients, and they are almost never available for internal projects, Workato came to solve the need for a developer and I was able to hire people based on other skills.
We are covering several processes such as Billing, Collection, Incentives, Recruiting, Onboarding and Offboarding, among other use cases.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Don't limit yourself when imaging integrations, start small but think about scaling the automated processes. Rely heavily on their support team, they will go far and beyond to get the job done.
Powerful platform, supportive team, responsive chat help, and quick-to-market automations.
What do you like best about the product?
I was amazed at the breadth of available connectors. The number of connectors coupled with custom https requests and error handling makes it possible for any technical expertise to write a recipe that integrates multiple systems and performs that integration automatically. Additionally, the community shared recipes gave me several ideas related to prominent CRM and ERP systems and how to bring them together.
What do you dislike about the product?
I truly can't point to anything absent from the platform based on my current utilization of the product. As our utilization of the platform grows, perhaps a weakness will be exposed but at this point there is nothing I can call out definitively.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are currently working on integrating electronic signature applications with our quoting system, syncing customers with central CRM systems, and emailing notifications to sales when new leads come in.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend going through the entire Automation Institute and as many video recordings as possible. Doing this will lessen the learning curve tremendously.
Its powerful integration and tool available in the market. It provides a lot of flexibility also.
What do you like best about the product?
Support option and Tech Community Webinars
What do you dislike about the product?
Mobile application. I think Workato should have a mobile application. It will help users to check the status of recipes via phone also.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Basically, I am using Workato to help clients to transition their data from one system to another. Overall client satisfaction is increased since I started using workato.
Decent product, some small design oversights
What do you like best about the product?
It's got a ton of built in connectors so a lot of integrations can be done out of box and their custom http connector allows for connection to anything with an api.
What do you dislike about the product?
You're limited to 2 http connectors per recipe because they decided to have the action share a connection and they only have a primary and secondary. Combine this with the fact they charge by recipe and it feels like they're encouraging you to use more recipes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're transferring data from one system to another that don't have normal connections and we've saved a lot of manual labor and time.
Easy to get up and running, but also supports any degree of complexity you require.
What do you like best about the product?
Collections feature is inspired. I look forward to its continued development and enhancement.
What do you dislike about the product?
Called recipes do not share context, such as variables with calling recipes which can limit some benefits of advanced architecture applications, such as asynchronous calls to recipes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data synchronization across enterprise applications. Transformations andautomations. We will continue to leverage this tool to improve our enterprise architecture.
Fantastic Support, Many Many Integrations, Easy to Use

User management, data uploads, system syncing.
Great tool for integration
What do you like best about the product?
Low/less code solution but at the same time rich capabilities for complex integrations/automation

I'm missing the ability to execute code (python) without using on-premise solutions
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are creating automated pipelines between platforms and services. Data sharing through the APIs
