Powerful and easy to scale

What do you like best about the product?
Workato is very powerful and integrates with loads of other platforms. As a relatively new user, I've found it easy to pick up and there's tons of training available when I want to learn more.
What do you dislike about the product?
The API documentation is somewhat lacking. When I have technical questions, I often need to contact support directly rather than being able to find my answer online.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Workato to integrate data sources. It's easy to manage a team of staff using the platform and maintain visiblity in to their projects.

What do you like best about the product?
Workato is an easy tool to work with and also, powerful enough to develop complex integrations. Support chat offers a major plus to the platform to have well prepared delevopers who can help with any queries which can be found in the documentation.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't think there is a downside, but I found a few bugs or features I would have liked to have in Workato. Having the support chat is very helpful and fades away the downside of this, as the team is well prepared to face any challenges, and they helped me every time to achieve what I was trying to do. I appreciate that Workato constantly evolves and improves the platform, and I'm looking forward to seeing more features added in the future.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workato helps me to:
- automating manual processes for different customers like onboarding/offboarding (removing any possible human error and saving time for engineers)
- syncing data from one API to another to keep all the systems aligned
- developing integrations with Slack bots, and much more.

Scalable Automations

What do you like best about the product?
The visual interface is really great and makes it easy to demonstrate automation logic to stakeholders. Job reports builds trust with stakeholders, as it makes errors and issues easy to identify and resolve.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some connections only cover basic actions and require customization in order to perform more specialized behaviors. An example of this is the Google Drive connection. It works great and supports several useful functions like searching for, creating, and moving files. However, a custom action is required to list all the files within a folder.
However, it seems like almost every month, they are releasing new and updated connections to fill in these gaps. I feel confident this is a short-term issue while they expand their catalog of connectors.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workato is great for reducing the tedious work and allowing staff to get back to doing the parts of the job they love. Some problems I've solved with Workato include:
syncing the creation of new employee records between HR, IT, Finance and ERP systems
transferring and cleansing data that was previously managed through massive excel sheets
updating business-critical spreadsheets in real-time
streamlining approvals for purchases, time off requests, etc
automating fulfillment records between software license deployment systems and sales/finance systems
fixing some inherent bugs within a single system (changing the status of a support case or escalating the case after a period of dormancy)

What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy the interface it's extremely helpful. I appreciate the ability to drag and select different platforms to create whatever automation you need.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think that there could be more user-guided documentation, when I was first starting out with workato i was having issues understanding what to do
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to create automatic notification systems that send out emails to affected parties whenever we have an escalated ticket in our system

What do you like best about the product?
Able to quickly test and fix the flow by toggling between Recipe/Test mode. Secondly, ability to use the previously created variables, not only that its intelligent enough to suggest the data pills as well
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes you have to switch between Text and Formula mode for some actions work, that will be a bit tricky in the initial days, but as you work and learn, it won't be an issue later on
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Integrating SOAP and REST-based APIs to automate some business processes helped my organization custom deliver and, in less time, the solutions with No Code/Low Code approach Workato support.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the best is the ease of learning the product, it is very intuitive and easy to maintain.
What do you dislike about the product?
My main issue is with the log I get from Zendesk, a bit clunky.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mostly help me create flows in between 2 systems like SF and Zendesk.
keep everything in structure.

What do you like best about the product?
The documentation is great and it has allowed me to automate so many things.

There are features that are missing but after yesterday's product roadmap reveal I am hesitant to complain.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Custom workflows that my software doesn't support and integration solutions.

What do you like best about the product?
The support chat is by far the best. They are always so attentive and helpful, as I am still learning the ins and outs of Workato they are amazing!
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes there is buggy behavior or inexplicable failures in a recipe which can be frustrating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Marketing automation and saving people's time in not having to do essential tasks manually.

The custom actions that offer much greater customization and functionality in my automation recipe

The lack of availability of resources to pick up knowledge on custom actions for applications
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data archival automations were the main problems. The benefits of automation include very customizable functionalities and many ways to structure it.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Consult the support team if you are unsure of anything. The product reps from Workato are well trained and very willing to help you if you are in a bind.
