Great tool and great support team
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to use. You can drag and drop actions from the several connectors available and create a simple sequence of steps in a few minutes. It's all visual and you have access to the data after you run a job to inspect it.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing huge that I dislike. One potential improvement point could the to allow the Python connector to use other libraries than those available today.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We integrate Salesforce with other ERP and workato makes the things much easier compared with if we had to write code to synchronize data. We have access to the last jobs what makes easier to sort out errors.

Accessible to beginners, and also a powerful automation platform for developers
What do you like best about the product?
* Intuitive interface - Recipes have 2 parts, a trigger and an action. Simple enough for beginners to grasp and allows you to reuse design patterns across all automations/integrations for more advanced users
* Speed to Value - APIs can in all shapes and sizes, but workato keeps the language consistent so that you don't feel like you have to start from scratch every time with a new system. Prebuilt connectors and actions allow you try something quickly and see how it works
* Powerful - Workato can scale to impressive throughput. I once used Workato to migrate 10MM+ records in a Salesforce migration that did real-time data lookup and transformations. We planned for a week-long migration and it was accomplished over a weekend.
* Use automations to manage your recipes - RecipeOps is a powerful tool, it is like automating the Workato user's job and allows you to automate the support & maintenance of your automations

What do you dislike about the product?
The Workato community is amazing, the product hours, webinars, Systematic group, and conferences for getting inspiration on what to automate next. As a lifetime software developer, sometimes I want to dig into code and see amazing design patterns that other are doing. Workato tends to focus on the business process and high level technical overviews, but sometimes I want to be inspired on a technical level too! The Automation Pros group is a good start, but most of the questions there are beginner level questions. I would love the chance to share and hear about the recipes that would impress the biggest technical nerds.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
* Order-to-Cash - Automate the order hand-off between our CRM and ERP
* Embedded Analytics - Populating our data warehouse and retrieving analytics to embed back into our CRM and ERP
* Lead-to-Order - Automations to help our go-to-market teams track leads and opportunities to make sure everyone receives the right calls to action
* Slackbots - Our company lives in Slack, Workato allows us to easily get relevant information from our SaaS systems into Slack for the right visibility and allows slack users to take actions directly in Slack
* Apply-to-Hire - Automations to create and review job descriptions, guide through the interview process, and facilitate employee onboarding
* Security and IT Cost Reviews - provision access to applications based on location and role, really powerful as teammates move between roles. Also cleans up access for departing employees.

Less flexibility to customize the flows.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workato is solving business integration challenges for my team. Its benefitting the way in which transfer data effectively.
Easy to use and powerful
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use of the product and the out-of-the-box connectors, ensure that we can build processes easily, without working on the connection. If there is a new connection required that is not covered - its easy to use the SDK or see if the community has built any connectors.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it would be easier if the default connectors, could handle more out-of-the-box. We also wish the documentation was a little more detailed for some connectors/stronger how-to guides.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving several business problems, between our CRM, Marketing tool and finance system. We are automating several tasks, about how the end-to-end sales process is handled and the customer's billing is handled.
Great Automation and Integration Software

What do you dislike about the product?
Not found an efficient way to pass data across two different recipes. For that either use lookup or save data to some other files/system.
Lookup has a limitation of 10k rows.
Lookup table and Properties: The team members can either have full access or have no access. It should also be read-only access.
CVS parse has also a 50k limit.
Switch case or IF/ELSE IF/ELSE structure missing.

Chatbot to auto-response
It is an awesome no-code tool that helps you automate business processes and integrate business apps
What do you like best about the product?
The UI is very user-friendly and easy to use.
The data from API calls and APP actions are very well organized in the data pill. It helps a lot in mapping data for various integrations.
It stores the recent jobs data and also allows a user to repeat the job process with the same data when failed.
Customer support is also one of the best I've experienced so far. They are very quick to respond and provide accurate details and help with queries.
Apart from this Workato also offers free training and certifications.
There is a community library where developers publish different automation that comes in very handy sometimes.
One of the most useful features is Workato's real-time event-based triggers. This is the best Workato offers.

What do you dislike about the product?
There is no dependency graph or details available to sort out the dependency and tracking of CRUD operations on the lookup tables just like they provide for the connections.
There is no option to jump to jobs from a specific date in the past. When you have automation with hundreds of jobs every day, it is very hard to look for the past job while debugging because you have to keep going to the next pages and scroll to the bottom for each page.
The external database platform support is needed like MongoDB.
The most needed and useful feature we often use in programming is the while loop and loop break (on a certain condition) features. I often came to certain situations while building the automation where I must need to use these features in order to implement the logic and also reduce the complexity. But they don't provide it. I suggested it via customer support a quarter ago but I guess the support staff didn't pass the information to the Dev team.
There is a timeout limit of 90 minutes for an automation job. This is sometimes troublesome when we have to run automation that processes a larger amount of data/requests and can not be divided into multiple jobs, in this case, we can not automate such a process via Workato.
There is a limitation of reading CSV with maximum of 50000 records, but we often have to work with hundreds of thousands of records and parse them to process.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The major problem it is solving is the codeless development with such great reliability.
Of course if we go by programming each and every process, it will take a significantly huge amount of time and lots of debugging for a team to get started only. Still, they will not be able to build such featureful and reliable automation we can build using Workato.
There are people with good management skills and understanding of business processes but not proficient in coding and not having such a big team of Devs to build automation. For them, Workato is the ultimate tool to build automation and integrate applications to make business processes smooth and well automated.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Go for it. Watch out for the budget.
With Workato we are able to automate our workflow quickly
What do you like best about the product?
One of its main advantages is the integration with almost all known software. We have been able to make integrations with the rest of the software quickly and easily, without having to code or have knowledge of any kind. It is a cloud-based software with mobile access, so we can access it, as many times as we need, anywhere, with internet connection. The drag and drop tool is very useful in this software, to get all tasks and activities set up and scheduled faster and easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although the technical support provides good material to achieve the integrations successfully, it is quite extensive and complicated to understand, which we had to require more time to get the software ready to use. I would like the system to provide some kind of information control by roles or restrict information to some users, and not everyone having access to all the information hosted in the system. Its price is somewhat high, since it only allows to integrate 3 applications with the basic plan, which raises the bill.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This has always been our software to easily and efficiently manage our workflow and the rest of the activities of the different departments. It allows integration with all the software we need to have all the information from different areas of the company in one place, all centralized, avoiding the leakage of important data. The program is quite intuitive, which makes it much more accessible to anyone. Its modules are quickly available and its interface design does not overwhelm or feel cluttered. It allows integration with many software of different categories, to have centralized all the information of projects and clients. Software with cloud access availability, being able to access from any computer or mobile device.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is a very complete software, which has achieved a perfect assembly in our company, making all areas work as one. We love being able to use it and recommend it to other companies. It is very intuitive and easy to navigate and the technical support is always ready to help with any inconvenience. Particularly to our company this software has worked very well, although it is a little expensive, the price is worth it, since we have no leakage of data and important information, the departments work efficiently and projects are executed smoothly in a timely manner, avoiding delays and loss of money.
Workato is amazing!!
What do you like best about the product?
I think that the Documentation and Workato academy are awesome. All the connectors are great because I can use work to with whatever SaaS I need. Workato is much easier to use than other integration/automation software.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think that I always use more actions than I should. I would like a way to know if I have optimized the recipe to use the least number of tasks necessary. I would love to see an optimization wizard or something similar.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workato helps me connect Salesforce, Snowflake, Slack, Google sheets, and NetSuite. It helps with ongoing data migration and makes it easy to move our data between systems.
