Ermetic facilitate us to achieve least privilege policy & subdue cloud security risk in AWS platform
What do you like best about the product?
Ermetic adheres to the Zero Trust security model for threat prevention & managing access to our customer applications. It is pivotal since we need to handle our workload utilization policies & access privileges across multiple users & their login devices. Ermetic also offers comprehensive security monitoring features so that authentication, authorization and validation of users are done properly before access provisions.
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve for implementing Ermetic in our AWS environment is steep. We require experience in configuring policies so that we protect our customer applications from advanced security threats. Setting up user access privileges should be done with adherence to customer compliance governance & to prevent conflicts between the security team & business processes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ermetic benefits our organization as it eliminates several vulnerabilities such as credential risk, inactive IAM permissions & data breaches thanks to its unified policy management dashboard. It also provisions visibility, remediates potential risks & promotes custom policy creation. We attach IAM policies for resource definition & user access control through the Ermetic platform. It's also easy to establish account-level boundary permissions & overview the access privileges granted to third-party tools. All these features of Ermetic aid in attaining the least privileged policy which is absolutely necessary for our AWS environment.

What do you like best about the product?
The breakdown we got regarding access to sensitive resources and having it all together while using SaaS IDP.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is still work to be done around vulnerabilities in the cloud, but overall as a CIEM tool it does a great job.

The way their platform displays the information is very good and helps to understand the risks better.

Missing some features around machine scanning.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cloud over-privileged entities, They help mitigate the over-privileged users and roles.

Do not hesitate, Try Ermetic.
I was blind, but with Ermetic today I see and fix IAM and Cloud miss-configuration

First of all, the entire Ermetic team is excellent!
2nd the product and the day-2-day experience are simply superb!
The way we can set the least privilege across the 3 major cloud providers with Ermetic and grant the identities exactly the permission needed to do their job is great!
Also, I almost stopped using completely the cloud providers' native tools and started to use Ermetic tools in order to list our multi-cloud and hyper-scaled inventory.
More about is, the activity log feature is one of the best in the market and while using it I'm able to find all our users and workloads actions.
