Outstanding visibility and the best support
What do you like best about the product?
With Ermetic, auditing our AWS environment has become much easier. We can see exactly what entities have excessive privileges and where they come from. We get nothing but the best support from our reps Gary and Moshe when we have a questions. They always make time to setup a meeting and take care of us.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hard for me to say, haven't run into anything I didnt like
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lack of visibility into our AWS environment. Being 100% in the cloud, we have alot to manage. Ermetic makes emphasizing least privilege easy and we are more productive because of it.
Excellent Tool, Love the Team
What do you like best about the product?
Setup and integration are quick and easy compared to current tools on the market. The UI is clean and easy to understand and the clarity in how to Remediate findings is perfect. The team is also very knowledgeable and available whenever we need them making it so easy to work with them.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, no dislikes at this time - any suggestions we make are added to their roadmap so we're overall happy with everything.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's giving us insight into the security gaps we didn't realize we had, and Ermetic is also helping us to remediate them quickly (which is appreciated).

Ermetic have a great UI that will show you exactly what are the vulnerabilities in your cloud accounts.

What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing, Every issue that we had got fixed super quick with Ermetic support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Remove known vulnerabilities and reduce potential breaches with overprivileged permissions for users.

What do you like best about the product?
Allows you to get a full picture of everything related to AWS more than the competitors

There are certain reports that cannot be generated by the system (according to the UI) and it is necessary to ask them to generate them manually.

Permission management in AWS
Deleting unused roles, Storage of unused buckets, etc. These actions allow us to be more productive and our business performance has improved

Ease of finding the critical issues in your multi accounts environment
What do you like best about the product?
Ordering the findings by severity and they show all the mitigations steps in the tool you use like terraform or JSON format for quick configuration implementation. Easy implementation with SSO for managment users and step by step detailed guide for quick import of accounts to the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not that important I guess, I would add the ability to TAG resources and build policies by TAG. most mention that there is the ability to TAG resources.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
You have to find the stuff that you don't know, with Emetic we were able to quickly see an overlook of our public accessed resources, Lambdas that uses clear txt credentials, lots of unused Roles and IAM users.
We were able to get reports about best practice configuration and Compliance status. What kind of permissions do we truly use for a service and the connection between the AD user and the AWS SSO role he has in the orgamization account.

Try it! you have to understand that you don't see everything by your own and you have to make sure you have the right tool to show you what you don't know or see.

The ease of use and direction provided by the product as well as customer support. Customer Support has been extremely helpful with guidance with assisting us with shoring up our cloud accounts!
What do you dislike about the product?
As of yet have not identified anything to notate as "dislike".
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Further refining our security stance, and continual monitoring of our cloud strategies. Ermetic has identified and helped with streamlining the further tuning of IAM, Role and device security.

Review the demo, as the product sells itself.

Ermetic is THE cloud security solution for the modern IT landscape.
What do you like best about the product?
Ermetic is by far the clearest and most targeted way of ensuring your cloud entitlement is truly secure and following least privilege. If you;ve ever managed identities like IAM in AWS you or Roles and Policies, you know how hard it is to make sure you aren't overprivileging your users and resources. I couldn't do my job without Ermetic (not in a reasonable amount of time that is). It's like hiring an extra 6 DevSecOps resources at once.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really. Unlike a lot of crappy products or old enterprisey bloatware trying to recreate themselves and be everything to everyone, Ermetic does a few super important things and they do those things perfectly and better than anyone else.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Locking down excessive permissions, finding PCI violations, limiting the blast radius on attacks, empowering Scrum Masters and PM/PO types to add security work items into their sprints, empowering leaders to 'trust but verify' that their DevOps resources are doing the right thing.

Ease of integration with AWS. Fast deployment and simple dahsboards.

Cloud identity risk assesement. This has been the one of the most dificult area's to get visabilty into because of lack of interstand and ability to corrlate all IAM data into a single feed

If anyone is looking to solve Cloud Identity audit and assessment gaps, Ermetic is the perfect tool to get the job done. Their platform considers a differnet approach to IAM rick assessment that provide a full overview of where/ how and how an identity is risky. Ermetic also provides a recoomneation of adjusted perrmissions based on actually usage not just provide risk based on a rule. Ermetic correlate all asset, role, userr and function to evaluate the risk. This in turns provide a high fedility risk assessement
