Transformative DX platform that boosts developer productivity

  • July 16, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
DX’s intuitive interface and API integrations have accelerated our development and deployment workflows. Setting up pipelines, monitoring in real time, and collaborating across teams is easier than ever. Their support team is also highly responsive and helped us troubleshoot advanced customizations quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The more advanced features aren’t fully covered in the documentation, so you may need to lean on support. A few niche customizations still require manual configuration outside the UI, which can slow you down if you’re new to the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
DX centralizes our build and deploy process, eliminating manual handoffs. We get great visibility instead of chasing down logs across 5 different tools, this allows us to debug in minutes. That reliability and speed has let us ship features twice as fast and spend more time building rather than firefighting.

Game changer - GetDX improved my performance as a leader

  • July 16, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
GetDX frees my mind to focus on business impact. Before implementing it, we conducted many surveys to identify pain points. We used to spend a lot of time discussing which KPIs were best and how to translate the work done into team performance.

Now, we can trust that we have a company focused on improving our performance by providing data and insights while we build a sustainable environment.

The feature I like most is the correlation between quantitative and qualitative data. There is no single way to measure performance, and this comprehensive overview is what I find most valuable.

All the integrations are easy to set up, and every time we’ve had an issue, the support team has been quick to respond.
What do you dislike about the product?
The onboarding process requires careful attention to your specific use case. You need to check whether your way of working is compatible with the available data — and that will only become clear once you start implementing the integrations.

It supports most use cases, but there are some metrics we can’t use because our code is deployed in multiple markets. As a result, we can’t fully trust the deployment-related data. This also means we miss out on other features that help us understand team performance.

Another important point is that changes are sometimes made in the production environment without notice. We experienced some negative impact when certain features started to work differently and our reports needed updates. At the same time, this has a positive side, as many new features are released frequently, with the company delivering improvements every week.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
KPIs to measure performance and visibility over pain points across the organization. It also enabled internal talks where we could map that a team was strong in areas that other teams were not.

Complete insight into your engineering org

  • July 10, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Love the ability to traverse many topics - ranging from impact of AI usage to developer sentiment. You can slice by teams to experiment and see how various components can impact (positively or negatively) output. Integration for most common enterprise tools is useful. I use DX weekly to walk through various things. Customer support has been great - quick to address painpoints and proactive on outreach. Overall an easy to use impactful product.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some charts have predefined things (eg low usage of AI) etc that aren't inherently clear on what that value/threshold is.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ultimately I think they want to solve visibility into how effective an engineering team is. I think they are building the tools/infra to support that.

Crucial for understanding Developer Experience

  • July 10, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love DX and I can't imagine working with Developer Experience without it anymore. The surveys solution is extremely useful as it makes sure the voice of every engineer is heard, helping us understand what are the biggest pain points and opportunities we have. Adding to that, the Reports solutions help us get quantitative metrics tied to the developer experience, which is an efficient way of us seeing the needle moving as we solve the pain points. With this, it is also easier to show how we impact the business by improving Developer Experience!
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of anything right now since the tram is also pretty quick in addressing any issue I find!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
DX solves the problems of gathering and understanding Developer Experience, while tying it together with quantitative productivity metrics. This is essential to us so we can show that working on developer experience is good for the business

Required for Developer Experience teams

  • July 08, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
DX is the missing piece for Developer Experience teams that are struggling to quantify and measure their work. We used to cobble together internal dashboards and manual sentiment surveys to try and measure the impact of our work. In less than a week of using DX we had significantly better data than we'd ever had, and when we started to dive deeper it was clear this platform would pay for itself. The way it connects sentiment data, machine data, and research is incredibly useful. If you have 100 engineers making $100/hour and you save them each 10 hours per year, that's already $100k you can save your business. With DX I am confident we will save our engineers far more than 10 hours per year.

Customer support was also great. They started a Slack channel with us and helped us get over any barriers to usage so by the end of Week 2 we were fully integrated.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user syncing functionality is somewhat under-developed. I have to keep our team in sync manually for now. This is fine, but I'd like to have a real API for this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
DX is helping us target our Developer Experience team's work so that we can raise the productivity of our engineering team, save money, and improve retention.

Transforming your engineering culture with DX

  • July 01, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The product is intuitive and its truly from devs for devs but includes also non-coders. The CSMs and support is very helpful and timely.
What do you dislike about the product?
- There could be more features to gamify incentives for engineers (like create award categories, bonus points etc.)
- some features are limited, e.g. exporting comments from Drivers doesn't include replies
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main goal for us is to change the engineering culture to be positive and building-focused. We also want to have a quantitative and qualitative way to define our platform roadmap and help developers across the products.

The most comprehensive Developer Experience tool I've used.

  • June 27, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
DX is super easy to integrate with, incredibly flexible in the way you use it and set it up and its survey tools are first class. Combining qualitative and quantitative data into the same tool is a game changer, and their customer support is first class.

DX are clearly thought leaders in this space and the product continues to show that.
What do you dislike about the product?
I honestly don't have a single gripe and they are incredibly open to feedback which they action impressively quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
DX gives me a new level of visibility on our squads that is invaluable.

Overall very useful, but missing some small QoL features

  • June 17, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Clean and intuitive design. I like how easy it is to spin up and send out surveys so much that I have been recommending it to coworkers looking for feedback on different things. We’ve also been running quarterly snapshots and it’s easy to navigate the feedback we get inside DX.
What do you dislike about the product?
Setting up the GitHub Copilot connector was a pain and the docs weren’t very good. I really dislike that I can’t exclude weekends from Copilot usage reports, it skews the data. It’s also not super intuitive how team-based adoption rates affect the overall adoption rate of the org. For example, all of our teams are at 80%+ adoption, our overall adoption rate is somehow much lower, like 60%.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking AI adoption. We use it to gain insights into how much our engineers are using Copilot. I hope yall continue to expand the number of connectors. Other than Copilot, we primarily use Amp, ChatGPT, and Gemini

Cross-cutting analytics in one convenient location

  • June 16, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
DX effectively consolidates team metrics into accessible formats, offering multiple viewing options that cater to different needs. It provides valuable support for measuring effectiveness of organizational initiatives as they progress, and it also helps identify potential issues before they escalate. The interface is intuitive and the options are plentiful. DX has helped us provide the data we need to prove out our ideas. I use it multiple times per week to gauge various aspects of team performance and health.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a lot of options, configurations, and filters to use so there is a learning curve. Once you get familiarized with most of it there's a lot of insights to be gained.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
DX compiles all the signals we use in one convenient location. Prior to this, we had to check multiple different locations and even then we could only make educated guesses as some of the data wasn't clear in that format
