What do you like best about the product?
I use it on daily bases and I love it

It can be complex to set up and configure, requiring in-depth technical knowledge.

they are solving the client problem to manage the apis for the serve
Easy to deploy, use and manageability
What do you like best about the product?
The best part is the API console where user can see all the published API that helps in easy to manage, update, troubleshoot errors that leds to saving time and eradicating confusion. Very simple interface, integration is smooth and fun to use!
I use daily for my freelancing activities. Customer Support responds quite well in case of stuck or any problems faced by the user.

What do you dislike about the product?
I do not think any feature which is not helpful, I can give a suggestion that it should have a in built quick tutorial guide, where first time users can get know all process seamlesly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
First of all, it shows all the APIs that we can group together thus saving time and efforts to manually find each API (its response) when troubleshooting for an error or bug.
Secondly, while creating new API designs, one can thoroughly test API in the platform itself as it shows detailed parameters.

What do you dislike about the product?
- Complexity in the Initial Setup, a bunch of configurations required
- Documentation would have been much easier

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I do have multiple services running across our projects, I manage all the services API with WSO2, API versioning becomes easier from the management, before WSO2, used to have security checks implements on each API level in code, now its been taken care with WSO2 also now i have a centralized place where i do manage and monitor my APIs
API Management by WSO2 API Manager - An honest Review
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about this service it that it can be dockerized which increase its portability and scalabilty.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like cost , because developers can easily build apis of their own. But we have multiple services here so it can not be that bad. Its a trade off i guess.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
WSO2 API Manager is providing ease of building apis, traffic control , monitization and on top of every thing it is open source which is highly customizable. I think for a project life cycle it can create a lot of impact in creating apis and increase the overall development time, because time is money.

Gracias a su robusta arquitectura, hemos logrado implementar una integración flexible y fluida entre aplicaciones, lo que facilita el soporte a nuestros procesos de negocio. Además, ofrece un sólido sistema de gobierno de APIs que permite un control exhaustivo en áreas críticas como el descubrimiento, gestión, seguridad, monitoreo y trazabilidad de los datos que fluyen entre las aplicaciones. Esto ha optimizado la interoperabilidad y ha mejorado significativamente la capacidad de respuesta de nuestras soluciones tecnológicas.
What do you dislike about the product?
En la versión 3.2.0 de WSO2 API Manager que utilizo actualmente, considero que la configuración de alertas podría ser más intuitiva y fácil de gestionar, especialmente cuando se superan los umbrales establecidos en las políticas de uso de las APIs. Por ejemplo, facilitar la configuración de alertas automáticas para notificar cuando se excede un límite de invocaciones de un recurso específico ayudaría a mejorar la experiencia de usuario y la capacidad de respuesta en la gestión de consumo de APIs. Además de poder agregar alertas a telegram, Microsoft Teams, que actualmente tiene mucho uso en la comunidad.

WSO2 API Manager is open-source and free to use with comprehensive api management, WSO2 API mangaer offers wide range of features for entire API lifecycle, including API creation, publishing,governance,security,monitoring and analytics, This make it a one-stop platform for managing entire API ecosystem.
WSO2 API manager is easy to use, built for high performance and can handle large volumes of API traffic. It provides robust security features, including OAuth2, API key authentication, and JWTs.It also supports various compliance standards.

What do you dislike about the product?
Complexity with simple needs, for organization with simple API needs the comprehansive feature set of wso2 API manger might be over kill, leading to unnecessary complexity and overhead.
While WSO2 offers a SaaS version of API Manager, its avialabilty on major cloud platforms like AWS and Azure is limited compared to some competitors

I recently had the pleasure of using WSO2 API Manager (WSO2 APIM), and I must say it exceeded my expectations in every way. The platform offers a robust and comprehensive solution for managing APIs, making the entire process seamless and efficient.

The user interface of WSO2 APIM could be more streamlined and intuitive.

Official documentation of WSO2 is not easy to understand/comprehensive.
