A comprehensive solution that is not overly complex to use or manage

What is our primary use case?

Trend Micro XDR is utilized for security management, and we apply it to our email, network, and endpoints.

Trend Micro XDR is based on its proprietary cloud.

How has it helped my organization?

Trend Micro provides us with centralized visibility and management across protection layers, which are important to our organization.

The centralized visibility and management across both layers improve our efficiency by offering central security without the need for extensive management or fine-tuning. Trend Micro is also comprehensive and user-friendly. We have confidence in the results.

The risk index provides us with insights into potentially vulnerable areas or aspects that we may need to double-check to ensure everything is working as expected. In other words, it's a useful tool to obtain a quick overview of parts that could be more exposed to risks and other potential issues.

Trend Micro helps reduce our MTTD and MTTR.

Trend Micro presents results in a comprehensive and easy-to-read manner, which helps reduce the time we spend investigating false positive alerts.

We utilize Trend Micro's automation capabilities for alerting and categorizing emails into specific categories based on their risk level.

What is most valuable?

Trend Micro XDR is a comprehensive solution that is not overly complex to use or manage. The security results have been quite good.

What needs improvement?

I would like to have more integration with mobile device management.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using Trend Micro XDR for three years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

Trend Micro XDR is stable.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

Trend Micro XDR is scalable. As a small company, the licenses we have are sufficient to meet our needs.

How are customer service and support?

The technical support team is excellent, and they were able to answer our questions to our satisfaction.

How was the initial setup?

The deployment did not appear to be complex, but it was managed by Pro-Axis, who utilized a large workforce to ensure the swift completion of the deployment.

What about the implementation team?

We engaged an external partner named Pro-Axis to assist us with migrating from Trend Micro on-premises to Trend Micro XDR. Their services were excellent, and we did not encounter any unexpected issues. We were fully satisfied with the migration process as Pro-Axis promptly restored our services.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

The pricing is competitive, and the cost aligns with the features we receive. The license fee covers all of our needs.

What other advice do I have?

I give Trend Micro XDR a nine out of ten.

We were initially using Trend Micro on-premises and then expanded our usage by implementing XDR. We were satisfied with the solution and its features, so we made the decision to stick with Trend Micro.

A small team is required for maintenance, which will not impose a significant burden on our IT team.

Our entire organization uses the solution.

I suggest trying out the trial of Trend Micro XDR to assess its suitability for their environment. It can be a good solution for small or medium-sized organizations, but keep in mind that everyone has their own specific requirements.

Fabolous cyber security protection

What do you like best about the product?
Its having very easy and simple dashboard to understand the status of system. On-premises option is available if the customer has isolated networks.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing we can dislike, But i would like to add one point, which is, Trendmicro should add a DLP feature with an Endpoint security product, Which other competitors added to their product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Trendmicro is helping us to protect our systems. And we have been happy using this product for many years. Now in this digital world, staying protected is a question mark, where Trendmicro helped us to stay protect.

What do you like best about the product?
It is showing everything we need to adjust in our company and now using the script to fix CVEs has made our life much easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like the correction scripts to be able to be executed on several devices at the same time, instead of having to go to each device to then run the script
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
He's been showing us everything we need to fix in our park, and with every type of CVES he's been showing us, this is our main tool for fixing vulnerabilities.

XDR easy to use and manage

What do you like best about the product?
TrendMicro Vision one is an XDR very easy to use and manage. Summary dashboard are well implemented to check your security in 5 minutes. Deep details can be viewed if needed with a good level of precision.
What do you dislike about the product?
Licensement is changing a lot and now we don't know how much the license will cost in the next purchase. Some API problems with splunk that don't have solution for the moment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can check the overall security in all our networks with just 5 minutes each day. Summary and executive reports are very good to this fast check. Some automatic triggers helps in the daily management of security.

What do you like best about the product?
Vision One allows us to have a 360 degree view of our level of security and active threats to our information system. Its strength, agglomerate data from several sources.
What do you dislike about the product?
Vision one is a young solution, we encounter several problems related to features that are not yet in final version.
We also have some endpoints that do not show up in the console, even though they have all the features activated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For our scope, vision one allowed us to mitigate attack vectors from emails. With artificial intelligence, it is able to cross-analyze emails received by users, and delete these malicious emails from user mailboxes. This allows us to significantly reduce the human risk.

What do you like best about the product?
The view that XDR gives analysts is incredible, the ease of having quick responses to what is happening in the environment is very important for decision making and incident response actions. The Managed Services option with the Trend team is excellent.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't really have any criticisms of XDR. The biggest problem, which I particularly have, is the lack of knowledge of all the functionalities and resources available in XDR.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
XDR is bringing a unique view of the environment, bringing cases in a reduced form of events to facilitate incident management. Searching for information about events helps a lot in targeting solutions.

Trend Micro XDR is full of features

What do you like best about the product?
Workbench, Sandbox, Response Management, Third-Party Integrations and Risk Index. Many useful features are included, and the integrations make the incident response much quicker. The Sandbox is very detailed compared to CrowdStike and Hybrid Analysis.
What do you dislike about the product?
Third-Party Integration already has many different products and brands, but no EDR competitors can be integrated. In our case, we have CrowdStrike and use Workload Security to complement some features that CS lacks. It would be nice if the XDR could ingest the CS alerts or AMP4E Alerts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The Risk Analysis that XDR provides gives us a number and information to show to our Director and C-level executives that they can understand. This helps us prove that the investment in cyber security is working and gives us leverage to ask for more tech and services to reduce the risk.

What do you like best about the product?
The workbench that shows you the details of an attack. I like to be able to see from what source the attack came, for example email, see the email address sending and receiving the email as well as see the machines affected if any.
What do you dislike about the product?
Have not yet found something not working well

A global view of the attacks and correlation of the incidents

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use and manage portal, the dashboard is very informative. We can see realtime/live threat detection reports. We can do some automation in responding to a threat.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can only think of the pricing since it is an enterprise solution so it maybe a challenge for small or medium organization that is wanting to have this kind of solution.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It provides single and central point of view of our different assets like network, endpoint computers and emails. So we do not go to different platforms just to check and monitor the security aspect of the platform.
