Great tool for your XDR detection needs
What do you like best about the product?
A must-have product for your XDR needs. Working with Trend Micro Vision One for almost a year now, having a single dashboard to view your entire risk exposure is highly beneficial. Vision One has everything you need, from XDR Automated Response playbook actions to detecting Highly Exploitable CVEs in your environment.
What do you dislike about the product?
Trend Micro is always open to receiving feedback and feature requests for Vision One, so it's constantly evolving. I have no complaints at this time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Viewing and drilling down into the telemetry data for an XDR event is highly beneficial.
Trend Micro Vision One after 1.5 years in production
What do you like best about the product?
Vision One has enormously improved in terms of coverage and functionality. It provides insight into our risk profile with many dashboards with very good and easy-to-use drill-downs into data. We use several products from the same company, leveraging the data; meanwhile, integration with many other vendors is also available. Vision One automatically creates workbench items for threat-hunting and to identify false positives. Playbooks allow automation, and risky devices can be isolated until investigated. Vision One has been very helpful in decision-making for addressing vulnerabilities with patching.
What do you dislike about the product?
Vision One is constantly evolving with new features added. Trend Micro is interested in our feedback. The product has a lot of information and you need to get familiar. The UI is intuitive, with good explanations. So there is no downside at this time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Trend Micro Vision One consolidates and analyses telemetry data from different sensors, making it available in intuitive dashboards with the excellent drill-down ability to understand the processes better. This insight allows quicker actions of preventive measures such as patching or understanding risk factors and isolation of an endpoint.
Formitable XDR with some room for improvements
What do you like best about the product?
The consolidation and correlations of detection data across Trend solutions are fantastic. The platform also gets frequent updates and improvements with a very responsive dev team.
What do you dislike about the product?
The connection to Cloud One Workload Security needs improvement. You get telemetry from Workload Security but lack inventory visibility and reverse shell to those agents (unless you disable event monitoring and deploy the EndpointBasecamp agent instead). Both items the dev team is working on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It ties all of my detection data into one place. Vision One lets me take items of interest (i.e. a domain seen on the wire) and use it as a pivot point to search across my environment (i.e. endpoints, network, emails).

Playbooks and 3rd party integrations are fantastic

Not fully customizable, we need to monitor our services/apps to trigger alerts when something is modified

Increase our security posture and monitoring for IOC's and vulnerabilities in our systems

qIt helps to integrate with other products of Trend micro and gives a good pictorial representation of the threat

Need to switch between Console for management

Received the alert and access to Trend Micro Vision One to view the XDR investigation workbench to get further visibility, conduct deeper analysis, and take necessary action.

Nothing major thus far, only a lack of training for the investigative report review.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's best for those who are already using trend micro suit Apex One and email security for them easy to deploy with a single click from the Admin console.
and also it gives complete history and flow of detection threat diagram no need to integrate any of the SIEM tools to view.

Vision One - Easily Analyze and Protect Your Assets
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to visualize correlated data across endpoints and through the network with our deployed Apex and Deep Discovery sensors. Uploading and analyzing files in the platform is also a cool feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not much to dislike. XDR is updated frequently, often with feature requests and their support team is always able to provide assistanace if needed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to analyze endpoints, network and mail and protect our assets via automation in one place with minimal resources. While we still have some work to do to completely get to that point, we are close to achieving that goal with XDR.
Trend Micro Endpoint
What do you like best about the product?
Trend Micro Endpoint EDR has capability to detect malicious, trogen files in the system. also it gives quick system scan in less time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Trend Micro Endpoint does not detect CNC attacks in the system. Someone can easily attack to end-user system by CNC attack.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
we can detect malicious files. it can detect easy what end-user doing and which malicious site end-user visit Trend Micro Endpoint gives the total summary.
