What do you like best about the product?
I would like to say that the best thing about this unique and meticulously built product is that it is just impeccable.If you want to localize your cloud data you can do that, if you want to shift your local data to cloud you can do that and if you want to merge your entire data set into one then you can do that as well with just one tap of a button.The UI is amazing and is second to none and anybody can handle the system for the word go and the customer support is one of the best that I have come across, they listen to you and understand your problem and come up with a solution for your problem.
What do you dislike about the product?
To be honest I really did not feel that there was anything to dislike but if we something that can be toned down then it should be the pricing, it is an amazing product and provides a lot of features for its price but it will be even more alluring if it were given a discount.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am working on a project which requires for me to solve problems which involves working in separate team and I handle all my data from the cloud whereas the other department handle their data on the local storage so we were having a lot of problems to combine and unify them because they were in different structure and form but with this tool we were able to connect them at once and were able to use and see all our data at one place.

I would like to take this opportunity to share with everyone that how good a product this IBM app connect it.From sharing data from your cloud to your local storage it has got everything.Initially it may come across as expensive but trust me, having used it for quite some time, I have realized that it is a product which is worth all its cost.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the fact that how lucid and easy it is to merge data from all of our local or cloud storage, it helps us create an union of the entire data and then the entire thing can be used by an application or can be used to share with some other organization.The entire User Interface is very intuitive and easy to use.Users can also create faster flows without deep application or domain knowledge also the customer support that IBM provides is top notch.I also feel that administrator panel is quite powerful and can be used to achieve some really amazing results.
What do you dislike about the product?
To be honest there is nothing that I do not like about the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I along with my peers in my organization have used this amazing application to combine our department's data which have been scattered and withering from some being in the cloud and some being locally stored.We have used the app to support our data so that it is available whenever it is needed.We have also used it in one of our 3rd party app to share the data with them.

I would really like to take this opportunity to share the fact that it is one of the most amazing application when it comes to managing and combining your cloud and local data. It is easy to use and the entire process is very lucid and can be learned by anyone with scarce past experience within days.

What do you like best about the product?
i have been using IBM App connect for 1-2 month , i recently joined infostretch as a cloud architect and application developer and then one i day Project manager assigned me a task for creating an API integration and i followed the traditional development approach and after some time he came and told me about the IBM APP Connect and then i started learning about it and it becomes so easy now to manage the total API management life cycle , the top most thing about the IBM App connect is you don't need to code a single line ,you just need to make an event driven flow diagram , and i must say the user interface is very much interactive and you can easily learn and start using it within a week , it's dash board is quite cool too !!

everything is very cool about the IBM App Connect , these service is really helpful !

What do you dislike about the product?
The UI is not nearly as intuitive as many of its competitors in the iPaaS space, which lead to larger learning curve. The GUI should be improved. The development and transformation capability is not so great. I believe IBM is looking to incorporate some of the features of IBM App Connect into API connect. The authentication features are no way close to CA API Management. The cost is high which is not feasible for small projects but the cost paid would be worth every penny.

We use IBM App Connect for large projects or when the projects require data to be combined into single format and source.IBM App Connect enables us to perform the integrations with ease thereby increasing the overall productivity. Since we share business APIs with other clients and merged companies it provides an easy integration platform for running and managing APIs in a secure manner. In all the IBM App Connect aids us with both in handling the large data and track data all while maintaining security

I would recommend IBM App Connect for organizations that share data from various systems within an organization or to the clients or child companies. It's easy, fast and secure. The cost is high but its worth the price for the features and support it provides.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used it to develop a enterprise wide integrations system. The benefit which we got was -- we were able to quickly develop integrations between systems which would take in other software much longer time and difficult to achieve.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend to maybe start with a POC. if the proof of concept servers the purpose , then take the decision and go on a full scale implementation.

our company uses IBM App connect for 1-2 years and it's a great experience using it , as we all know that in today world meeting the deadlines is very important and there is always a threat of missing product delivery dates in software industry and the main reason for that extra time is because we uses so many other business product services for different works and managing them all becomes very hard , and here comes the ibm app connect it totally supports the rapid application development work which ultimately makes your company's business more efficient , with this product you can easily able to create event triggered work flow to just only focus on what really maters , and for these you don't need to write a single line of code you can just do it by it's user interface which is very interactive and easy to use !!

i have been using it for 1-2 years , IBM App Connects allows you to be more productive using an intuitive web based interface through which you can easily automate your all task and integrate your application with the other software services very easily and securely , but it's pricing cost is little bit high !

i have been using IBM App Connect for 1-2 years as an ESB( Enterprise Service Bus ) , i must say it's one of the most helpful application for developing API ( Application Program Interface ) without writing a single line of code , in the IBM App Connect we need to specify event triggered work flows and it's really easy to create event driven flows for your application in IBM App Connect , and after setting the work flows we can easily able to automate the work flow rapidly , for this you simply need to select select source application and target app with all the actions an triggers , it becomes very easy to create consistency of your data which easily syncs data from various business applications easily and rapidly ! !

everything is very good with IBM App Connect , it's a great service but you can say it's little bit difficult to use and also they are charging high for the services ! !

What do you like best about the product?
The pn-premise setup of API connect is very easy compared to Apigee. Also, API proxy development also has been made easier. The support provided by IBM team is 24x7 and try to solve the issue as soon as possible.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is some learning curve needed since some of the needs to be done manually.,Also has the development and transformation capability is not that great. The authentication features are no way near to CA API Management. The GUI needs improvement. And, above all its price is high compared to other services.

Our company uses IBM App Connect for sharing business APIs to external consumers and other child and partner companies. Since it provides an integrated platform for running, creating and managing APIs all in secure manner. It also comes with built-in IBM App Connect Professional.This aids us in keeping track of data and maintaining security.

IBM is one of the market leaders in Gartner's report.Any company that uses datapower as the gateway can integrate IBM Connect API to their ecosystem easily.It's better than its competitors hence expensive but worth every penny.

i have been working on IBM App Connect for 2-3 years , it's one of the efficient solution for making rapid business application using IBM App Connect , if you don't love to code very much and want to develop API ( Application Program Interface ) it's the best possible solution to you because using it you can easily able to develop application just by using event - driven work flow diagram , which has very easy user interface and very user friendly too , it provides you a brilliant dashboard from which you can navigate between different services very easily and interactively , the most important thing about the IBM App Connect is that you can very easily able to connect it with salesforce ! !

IBM Connect App - A new way of exposing business
What do you like best about the product?
IBM App Connect is used for exposing business APIs to external consumers and other partner applications in a secure manner. It provides an integrated platform for running, creating and managing APIs. The amount of tools that this software has is incredible, they ARE MANY and really they are too useful. It should be noted that this software is very "friendly" because it explains very carefully how it is handled and the use of its options and tools, so you will not have problems when carrying out one of your business projects through IBM App Connect. I can also say that with this software you will learn a lot because IBM App Connect gives you a lot of information so you can read and know many things that you did not know all this to facilitate your learning, knowledge and handling of this software.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have some cost issues with app connect other than that its cool.Atleast as of now its fine and has no problems or bugs.

I use ibm app connect to integrate the data resources for particular projects because certain projects require the instantiate data behavior of the data resources worldwide,also sometimes we need to handle realtime data from more than one source with very less latency which can be achieved using ibm app connect,so we use ibm app connect at our office.
