Top notch tool for combining existing integration bus with IBM app connect easily!
What do you like best about the product?
i have around 2 years of working experience on IBM App Connect , IBM App Connect enables different information to flow between different different type of applications which are mostly business related , it has one very good and appreciating feature in it which is Accessibility this feature helps it's users who has physical disabilities like problem in vision etc . , using the IBM App Connect Tool Kit it becomes very easy to create modern , powerful and complex applications and also we can able to create API's and work as a 3rd party API provider , and to create API in IBM App Connect we just need to create event driven flow for API and we don't require to write a single line of code too.
What do you dislike about the product?
quality of support provided is not so good and it's not possible to debug the flows for testing purpose!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
in our company we use it to create highly integrated and complex APi's ,services etc.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
it's one of the best tool for creating modern applications using new cloud native technologies very easily , and in case if you're new to IBM APP COnnect , you can easily learn it from youtube or from their own website easily too ! !

What do you like best about the product?
i have been using IBM App connect for 1 year , it's very easy to transform the whole logic in terms of event driven flow diagrams by integrating with different different services rapidly and easily ,like ASANa, Massage Hub, Sales Force , SAP . in IBM App connect you can transform the whole thing which you were doing in any other programming language means you can add if , else ,else if , loops etc very easily because of it's User interface , it becomes so much easy to create an event driven flow or flow for an API very easily and rapidly !
What do you dislike about the product?
as if now there is nothing to dislike about IBM App Connect!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
we us IBM App connect to create flows for our REST APIs often!!

it becomes very easy connect the applications with the use of API workflow which automates so many stuffs very interactively , easily , rapidly. so, over all it's a good product to use for API management !!

IBM has gone back and forth on licensing for this product. Make sure you get the licensing that lets you have unlimited endpoints; otherwise, you will need to account for each separate endpoint in your licensing costs and adding more automation has a price impa
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- The most valuable feature for me is the availability of the adapters, which are already made out of the box.
- Whether it be a CRM, ERP or whatever you want to integrate with, customers get the integration projects done at least 40% ahead of time. That's a great benefit for them and for us.

Needed a single integration tool for multiple technologies, no longer have to deploy into separate environments.

You have all the options from old API models to new API designs which can be used with App connect. The usability becomes much more simple the more you use the platform.

The learning curve is bit hard I feel. This needs a lot of playing around before deciding on any design decision.

I really like this software because it is very easy to use, the design is very practical and simple, making it possible to create all your projects in the easiest and fastest way possible. The great variety of tools that this software has is incredible. Also this is a software that explains to you exactly how it works, therefore you will not have problem of how this software works, on the other hand IBM is a software that tries to teach you new things, and definitely that facilitates your learning within this professional field
A very positive point that this software has is that the cloud is very safe, you can trust the backup that it does. You can also manage the app over the phone and you can do it without worry because the mobile version is very good.
The integration with other applications are very good, for now I have not had any problem with that.
The support team is very good, if you have any questions do not hesitate to ask them for sure they will respond with great kindness, they also have a lot of knowledge, you will learn a lot with them too.

What I do not like about this software is that you lose a lot of time in the developers, almost everything has to be done manually and you have to be aware of that almost all the time.
As I mentioned before, the support team is VERY GOOD but I would like that they to respond faster because I have lost projects due to certain doubts regarding the handling of this software.

Thanks to this software we can now integrate our projects in other applications as well as see other designs and share them and others can also see and share our designs if they wish. Through this software we can also connect with other vendors and their databases.
Previously we had problems with the integration of other software but that was resolved when we started to using this software, we can also reuse the projects and thus save more time.
Our projects are easier to explain because we design them here, the image of our projects are very modern and beautiful, it attracts the attention of many people making our company something unique.
Now we feel that our projects are safe under IBM App Connect.

If you want your projects to be safe and well protected do not hesitate to use this software. I personally recommend IBM App Connect to all who wish to obtain it, do it, it will be worth it.

what i love about this is that it securely exposes APIs to Intranet/Internet and and api development is relatively easy.

the GUI can be improved alittle to make it more user friendly.

Have implemented more than 5 flows using this project. I use it in my day to day tasks as a software dev analyst, it is very easy to use and gives the end product relatively hassle free.

Limitation is the Java hep size and the limitation of files sizes. Including all the features in the Cloud Version of App Conn, and additional connectors to AWS, like S3.
