Streamlining new vendor onboarding and invoice processing
What do you like best about the product?
Nanonets uses sophisticated algorithms that accurately extract data from invoices, even with complex or non-standard layouts. The AI continuously learns and improves its extraction accuracy, reducing manual data entry errors and saving significant time for our team. The platform also allows users to create highly customizable workflows that can automatically route invoices, trigger approvals, and perform actions based on specific rules.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nanonets' invoice processing and workflow automation features may require substantial initial setup and configuration.
The platform's pricing model might be less transparent or more expensive than some competitors, especially for small to medium-sized businesses.
Manual verification might still be necessary, potentially reducing the expected efficiency gains in some cases.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We onboard a lot of new vendors on a monthly basis and often vendors also end up using multiple non-standard invoice formats (we even receive different formats from the same vendor).
Syncing vendor data into our ERP and streamlining the data ingestion was a big pain. Nanonets has helped streamline this to a great extent, cutting down manhours significantly.

Nanonets: Ease of use and number of features.
What do you like best about the product?
Nanonets significantly improved our accuracy compared to the previous system we were using. The platform has a user-friendly interface, seamless integration, and excellent customer support that was always available to answer our questions.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the platform is user-friendly for simple tasks, setting up advanced workflows may require a deeper understanding of its features. Training models for unique document types or workflows can also be time-consuming, as it requires uploading sufficient data to achieve accurate results.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Document scanning. Provides a higher accuracy compared to other softwares.
Building efficiencies (both time and costs) with Nanonets
What do you like best about the product?
We had a unique use case for the Nanonets team to tackle and they met the challenge with expertise. We are not in the "OCR"-field, and they were patient with our questions, with open lines of communication and suggestions for solutions throughout the setup. The platform itself is user-friendly (see aforementioned "not in the OCR-field"), and we access it constantly at our own leisure. They embedded themselves in our original research objective and have been the connection point across our multiple vendors and platforms. We keep coming back with requests for additional services and they have delivered on each so far. They have been a huge asset in our data collection process, saving both time and headaches for our team.
What do you dislike about the product?
The initial customer service response time was slower but they have implemented a support team that has addressed this issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Nanonets is automating our primary research data collection process. It saves us time and investing in other platforms to verify respondent data.
Automated email triaging and associated workflows
What do you like best about the product?
It has saved us numerous hours per week that we would have otherwise spent in triaging and classifying incoming emails into those relevant for each department.
Apart from the initial onboarding setup, the entire workflow is now managed in-house which is super efficient, especially since we don't have technical expertise.

What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing is quite high right now at our current usage levels, but as we scale our processes and volume discounts kick in I hope we can settle at a more comfortable range.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We receive a ton of inbound emails pertaining to support tickets, client outreach, and stuff that we would like to ignore. As a creative agency, all hands on deck typically focus on creative work and so triaging and redirecting these emails to the right point of contact internally was a huge drain of time. Nanonets helped set up a workflow where all emails are first read by Nanonets AI and traiged into different buckets: support tickets, inbound leads or prospective clients, vendor outreach and spam. Emails tagged as such are forwarded to the right people who can take immediate next steps. This has helped us avoid hiring a dedicated person to do this task and free up time for all creative personnel to focus on what they do best: create amazing content.

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes characters are added to the extraction that aren't there.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping us to extract information from large scale pdf files that would in turn take hours to manually type to an excel spreadsheet.
Easy to use platform with good results and great support
What do you like best about the product?
Out of the box the OCR recognition is pretty good. But the implementation and support teams take this service to another level because they are very responsive and cater their platform to your specific needs. The Nanonets team also did the initial model training work as well as provided custom logic to match to fields in our ERP for integration. Even after implementation when using support they have been able to add features from my feedback and continue to add to the platform. There are plenty of options for integrations and they frequently add more.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have many complaints about Nanonets platform. It can be a little pricy if your volume is not high. I'd like to use the system for other purposes aside from our main model, but I cannot justify the cost of additional models for the low volume documents.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were able to automate our incoming purchase orders from customers who have all different formats of POs including PDF, fax, email, handwritten, etc.
Embracing Nanonets' Smart OCR Technology for Challenging Projects
What do you like best about the product?
The technology is advanced, accurate and easy to use and scale.
The team who supported us ensured that we used their technology in the most effective ways.

What do you dislike about the product?
Our project involved working with hundreds of thousands of challenging files. Some were really old. A nice capability could be to have more control on which files have already been processed and which haven't (for example, if we needed to reprocess one single page of a PDF, we would need to extract it manually and upload it manually to the platform). It would be very useful to have a control tool that could simplify that.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Nanonets is helping us digitize and structure the data of 12 million documents from payroll data covering 30 years. Some of this documents (in paper) are in very bad shape. Nanonets is helping us extract as much as possible from them in a scalable way.
Zero-training model with high accuracy in data extraction
What do you like best about the product?
OCR engine's features, mainly in terms of training the engine with the documents, the vast range of the different types of documents supported, the zero-training model and the facility to quickly add additional training data on the fly is really good. The quick support provided by the CSR representative from Nanonets and that to over the calls is really appreciating.
What do you dislike about the product?
The payment and subscription management module sometime eats of additional time in manaing the payment methods, or updating the information for the corporate financial records. This can be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Nanonets intelligent OCR engine helps our products and service to cut-down on manual effors made over the document's data extraction and also the zero-training model helps us to segrigate the documents based on its type, structure and other identifiable information. This benefits in terms of reducing the overall time spent to process every document and increases the productivitiy with less errors.
Nanonets Is An Exceptional OCR Solution
What do you like best about the product?
The software is easy to use, but is very flexible technically for our needs. The support has been great since the very start. They are very quick to address our questions and needs that we have. Even during the evaluation process, Nanonets stood out from others as willing partners to get our needs met.
It didn't take us too long to get our first implemenation into Production. We have weekly meetings to go over our next Production implementations and to address any questions that we may have. Along with the service and support, the actual Nanonets solution is easy for the users to use and navigate. And the solution allows customazation using Python, lookups, and custom data actions that allow any business need to be addressed.

What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that comes to mind is somtimes the OCR mappings are incorrect, less than 1%. This hasn't been a major issuse for us, and maybe part of the initial AI training process. I imagine other. OCR solutions have similar issues as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Instead of manual entry of the source documents, Nanonets elimintes this timely, and error-prone process. It frees up our people to work on other items besides tedious manual entry.
Scalability at the Speed of Business
What do you like best about the product?
The mapless model allows us to scale at the speed of the business instead of the speed of our limited Dev Team. We work with a large number of partners that frequently change the format of the data we receive but we have no issues keeping up with the ease of updating the read.
What do you dislike about the product?
The model is very fluid. It does require more rework than we had expected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a quickly changing landscape if Customers and uppliers that we need to quickly scale and automate the processing of Documents. The Mapless Model allows us to scale and adjust very quickly to add new Suppliers and Customers. We are able to scale our document count without scaling our headcount.
