What do you like best about the product?
Using Appian we can design and built the complex bussiness flow in smother way
What do you dislike about the product?
Since Appian is a tool it has some limitations. More over Any thing and Everything is not possible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mainly using Appian we can built intelligent document system and mainly it's used in BFSI domain.We can also design and built bussiness process easily

Appian a BPM Leader
What do you like best about the product?
It's Dashboard and Report creating functionality with low code or no code change. Also has capabilities to integrate with other market leading ERPs and Applications
What do you dislike about the product?
Although it's advertised as low code or no code but Coding is required for all types of integrations
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automated Project and Contract Set up process which provided 30 FTEs benefits
Recommendations to others considering the product:
All those who wants to streamline their manual BPM processes I will recommend this tool as it doesn't require more Technical expertise and easy to handle tool

Benifit is that time taken is less also business perspective application can be readily used
Great platform for Digital Transformation
What do you like best about the product?
Appian allows you to create business applications much faster than what we are normally used to doing with other development technologies. The nice thing about Appian is that you don't have to write the code of your applications line by line, you simply drag and drop the components that you need to create your user interfaces, it is as if you had your own Lego box. Another thing that I enjoy the most about Appian is that it allows you to unify all your data in one place, thus eliminating having to work in silos within the same organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
Appian is a platform with many advantages, but there are some downsides that from my point of view should improve. For example, in the region where I am located, many clients show their interest at the beginning of the conversations, but when we present the cost of the licenses they do not look very happy. I understand that Appian could be a little less expensive so that it can be better received by potential clients.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are currently in the middle of the Digital Transformation of the entire company. The main idea of bringing Appian on board was to speed up the time in which solutions are developed by designing, executing, managing, and optimizing complex core processes for the legal and marketing departments. Previously, there was no visibility into the current status of the contract, proposal, and project durations. Thanks to Appian we have been able to reduce the resolution time for these issues by taking advantage of the case management capabilities that Appian offers. We have also achieved to centralize 85% of the data across the entire company, eliminating silos that previously existed between departments.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Appian allows us to leverage more expensive managers with our emergent coding organization.
Appian is the best low code King
What do you like best about the product?
Appian offers some default layout which we can use directly using drag and drop and can create attractive UI. Also Appian uses latest UI designs for app development.
What do you dislike about the product?
For data processing or large data reading data from backed, Appian is quite slow. On each interaction, server side validation adding UI slowness. For Document storage, Appian is not good.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A corporate loan application, where it's easy to integrate with multiple systems using web services, a data connector application for approval and request processing along with each audit. Logging for transfers of files is another app where I used Appian.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Appian is best plateform to build application quickly with latest UI designs and powerful process model functionality. It's easy to integrate with third party applications too.
One of the great low code platform
What do you like best about the product?
It enables fast paced development. Easy to learn.

Less information availability outside the community.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are providing all kind of applications using Appian. Complies are delighted to see and receive ready to use applications in minimum TAT.
Low code Platform
What do you like best about the product?
I wouldn't say I liked coding to build software, and I got a chance to work in Appian, I like the best thing about this software is we can make applications without using Java, Python languages because it is the low code language. Everyone can work with this software.
What do you dislike about the product?
Appian is used by only a few people who have knowledge of it, and Appian is new in the market. So, when I was able to complete my task, and I searched through Google, sometimes I was not able to find the solution.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am now in my Co-Op at Loblaws, and I am working with this software. I am solving the problems related to Appian RPA, and I realized I could make a bot using Appian RPA easily than other languages.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a platform for everyone because everyone can learn Appian in 2 weeks.
Very intuitive platform for locating sources related to processing
What do you like best about the product?
The amount of items that can be used in search criteria.
What do you dislike about the product?
Shifting through many pages of indexing criteria prior to getting what you are looking for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Locating information in a streamlined process that relates to account processing.
Powerful but not for all the cases
What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that you are able to easily implement your solution if you follow the Appian guidelines.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you want to implement any custom functionality, it's very complex to write the code for a simple operation that you would do super smoothly in any other programming language.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The project is about integration and visualization of data and enabling the managing of hyperautomation processes (so related to the RPA field).
Recommendations to others considering the product:
So in general I think, as I already mentioned that if you want to use this platform for what it's meant to, it's really simple to use and you can accomplish your goal. You can define the data model and the interfaces through which you can access and manipulate the data. I like the fact that you can use the application both in desktop mode and mobile in a native way without worrying about layouts, scaling and things like that.
The approach is low code, and actually it's true, but I think this is also kinda limited. I don't think there is the perfect platform for accomplishing everything you need, in fact in many cases we needed to implement some custom functionality and it was a mess (and still is). The programming code is completely custom and I never saw something so tricky to do even the basic operation like casting, looping, assigning variables and so on.
So I stick to the title of my review.

Training could have been better
What do you like best about the product?
I like the way Appian is designed to create simple application functionalities.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pieces of training scheduled were recorded and were too fast for a new user to follow. Hands-on sessions were not impactful as I didn't get a clear idea during the recorded training.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I haven't started using Appian yet on business applications.
