A well organised Database
What do you like best about the product?
I have used this DB for relational data. It is easy to work with and perfect UI.
What do you dislike about the product?
Application support
For the person who is unfamiliar with SQL it will be a bit steep learning

Speed of record processing
What do you like best about the product?
The speed of operations for copying data within DB2 is tremendous and the capability extends with similar length when talking about copying data from DB2 to an IFS file. We find the RRN values very useful for files which were not built with primary records at first.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of demonstrations on FTP and SFTP is not clear at IBM but other resources on internet balances for those.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use IBM DB2 to interface WEBFOCUS technology and have been pulling reports and graphical charts
IBM DB2 is very useful for dev purposes.

Need for data replication decreases using it

BIND can be time consuming for large plans

Zero problems. Just keep updating your knowledge from time to time.

1. Sometimes the DB fails due to mysterious reasons becomes bit difficult to debug.

IBM DB2 is the most flexible database I have ever worked with. It uses simple SQL to access, update and alter data.

It's a classical database and lagging with limited usage.

I got an opportunity to work with old data of our clients which resided safely in IBM Db2 which made me to realise the integrity of data in IBM Db2.
