Great CRM for Smaller Companies or Bigger Budgets

What do you like best about the product?
I like the Dashboard functionalities, as well as the abilities to Report across any pathway that exists in the system, without being limited to 2-3 modules at a time.
What do you dislike about the product?
It has capacity issues when working with large volumes of data (20 million records) that have complex relationships between them and calculations. The import feature also is quite limited when working with large quantities of data that have relationships across modules.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps with our internal KPI reporting and tracking our YoY progress across business units.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use.
A CRM system that can handle end-to-end sales operations. It is possible to configure highly customizable automations and business processes.
Responsive support team.

What do you dislike about the product?
More out-of-the-box functionality would be great, making the system more sustainable, especially after a new release.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
** When customer data is siloed across multiple systems, it can lead to incomplete information, miscommunication, and inefficiencies in managing customer relationships. --> SugarCRM Sell provides a customer 360-degree view, compiling all interactions, history, and communications.

** Leads often fall through the cracks, and opportunities are mismanaged when there's no proper process or system to track progress and follow-ups. Sugar Sell offers automated lead routing and opportunity management features, allowing teams to effectively prioritize and track deals, from lead generation to closing to post-sales operations. This ensures no opportunity is missed.

** When sales processes are not standardized across teams, it can lead to inconsistent results, confusion, and inefficiency, especially in larger organizations like ours. --> Sugar Sell offers customizable workflows that standardize sales processes, ensuring that each BD follows the same steps for lead nurturing, deal tracking, closing and onboarding processes, leading to greater consistency and higher conversion rates.

What do you like best about the product?
Sugar Sell’s open architecture platform allowed us to configure the CRM functionality to better align and support our sales operational processes. The SugarCRM tools available (workflow automation, customizable fields and display screens, document generation, integrations) provided us with the capability to tailor the platform to our business processes. It simplified training and encouraged quicker adoption due to our ability to streamline day-to-day activities and communication between departments.
What do you dislike about the product?
Simplifying processes within the CRM through customizations requires a high level of expertise to manage and maintain the system; however, the benefits gained in process efficiencies, enhanced user experience, and transparency to all departments involved in the various sales and operational processes was worth the technical complexity built into the system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sugar Sell provides a central repository of account information utilized for marketing automation and business insights and strategy. In addition, the workflow capability and ability to integrate to other systems has allowed us to automate and provide transparency to critical sales processes across cross-functional departments in our organization.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to easily create modules and fields on the fly. Able to get additional data into the system easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
The module record displays, which there was an easier way to arrange the screens to see important reports easier. Also, an integration with PowerBI reporting so that we could include better visualizations
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping us identify our Lapse customers (people who have not purchased in over a year). This allows us to reach out to clients who have purchased in the past and get them back in the stores.

What do you like best about the product?

The price, it's an expensive tool to use.

Great product, a wealth of features and customisable to our needs

What do you like best about the product?
The level of flexibility and customisation that can be achieved without the need for developers is impressive. Being able to create detailed reports with strong visuals for our dashboards has been a big game changer for us. The mobile app has worked very well for our sales team and having the support of the Sugar community to exchange ideas and assist with solutions has been very helpful. Integrating Sugar with our existing systems has been fairly straightforward also.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much to dislike with Sugar, it's been an excellent system.
Having the ability to use Sugar Logic to create formulas which make fields behave in a certain way is excellent, however, it can be frustrating to use and I would personally like to see a bit more support in this area.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Moving from departmental legacy systems to Sugar Sell has allowed our sales teams to share information in a way that wasn't possible before. Now we can identify where we can offer a greater range of products and services to both existing and new customers. Effective dashboard reports ensures that we are keeping in regular contact with our customers and updating their records with good quality information. We are starting to make use of SugarBPM to automate more processes. This is helping to reduce the burden of 'admin' for some of the users which, in turn, is helping to increase adoption. The Cases module on Sugar Sell has given us an ideal solution for managing and resolving complaints in an efficient manner.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use and available customization. It has all of the sales features we need. Integration with our accounting software was also a big plus.
What do you dislike about the product?
The quote module is functional but basic.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Many of our business processed are managed through Sugar including account and customer management, product data base management, quoting, managing service cases and email marketing.
Sugar offers a single platform to adress most of our ERP needs at low cost and easy customization.

What do you like best about the product?
It is convenient when using as a group. Individual users can upload the sales information whenever and wherever they want, and their manager could be informed right away.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is an error with the headline view when impersonating as another user. Normally, the CEO would like me to assist in recording information from his personal sales to his account; but when I impersonated into his account, there is a headline view cut-off which prevent me from creating or converting leads. They are preparing a version update regarding the impersonation usage. It will help me to assist my manager in recording information into his account more conveniently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Immediate visibility of how the sales teams are performing is very important to our leadership team. They can make business decisions from current and accurate data helping our business grow.
