SalesForce Sales Cloud Review
What do you like best about the product?
The Salesforce Sales Cloud allows me to monitor my deals easily and quickly. It is very user friendly and has so much functionality surrounding reporting, tracking, and prospecting. I think every sales team should be using this tool. I have seen great results and have been able to exceed quota while using this tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
The product has so much functionality and capabilities that I am not sure how to implement into my workflow. The thing I dislike about the platform is that not everything has the best description. It would be nice to have a tutorial that shows off all of the tools features and functionality
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to track all my open opportunities and categorize them in different stages is the main benefit. It also integrates well with tools like Outreach and Zoominfo making prospecting much quicker. We are able to pull reports from Looker whil ebeing in the opportunity page of Salesforce. Has been the most important tool in my day-day.

It's fine
What do you like best about the product?
Reporting and trailblazer (online free learning about Salesforce). Also, you can almost fully customize your instance of the product. The user interface is easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Overeager and misguided account executives consistently try to upsell you on things you don't need. The product itself requires at least one full-time admin or outside consultant to keep the data clean and the product functioning. While you can customize almost everything, consistent product updates mean that objects and workflows can break. Customer support is difficult, sometimes requiring multiple calls to solve simple issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Salesforce keeps our client and prospect data in one place visible to all users.
Great for managing M&A Pipelines
What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to customer and add fields. We track all sorts of non-standard items from a very robust pipeline of tens of thousands of leads with ease. There are man 3P Tools pre-built with connectors that are very easy to sync in knowledge databases into. Having all communication and followups in one spot makes it easy to keep on top of opportunities and to manage BD members
What do you dislike about the product?
I have had difficulty managing the ease of exportability of data for reporting purposes, and also safeguarding data from mass exports.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Capture and repository of information formerly lost in emails, multiple versions of spreadsheets, address book of contacts, campagin and BD KPI tracking
Customizable and Easy
What do you like best about the product?
It is very intuitive and easy to use. have used it at multiple businesses so it was customized differently but it is intuitively the same reporting and integrations etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
depending on how it was set up can be difficult to pull reports.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
organizing accounts and contacts as well as insights to territory
Tremendous power and versatility - but almost to the point of overwhelm
What do you like best about the product?
Salesforce Sales Cloud is great because it can be customized down to the brass tacks for any organization and their needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pro is also the con - because of the vast customization options, it's easy to have built for one department that doesn't translate to others. For example, our org built it out for Finance rather than Sales initially so some of the buildout doens't make sense. This is definitely not a product fault, of course, but ideally, there would be a way to make different templates or versions ot be used by different departments.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As someone in a joint Account Executive/Account Manager role, it's important for me to be able to manage, from a high level and also a drilldown, all existing customers and prospects and the stages that each opportunity is in. I love the dynamic nature of report building and the ability to filter or categorize by virtually any field based on what is important to me. The vast amount of integrations (I currently use the BoostUp, Docusign and Clari (Groove) integrations) helps me keep one centralized space to track and plan for all my sales opportunities.
I think Salesforce can be overwhelming for a new rep or user to pick up. It is not particularly aesthetic and the UI isn't always easy to navigate. It's kind of similar to snowboarding; as they say, "hard to learn, easy to master." For more seasoned reps, it can be a super powerful tool.

It's possible to get lost, or to miss opportunities, if you don't have an expert onboarding and supporting you.

Connecting multiple efforts, from marketing, lead gen, sales enablement, pre-sales, sales - all the way down the funnel and connected to business results.

At first glance information looks confusing. I would enjoy having a dinamic tutorial playing on my first login. I use almost everyday checking timecards and employee/contractors information.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
On my end the most important is that Salesforce centralize our operations, reducing the time and data loose while switching between platforms and improves data accuracy on the reports I need to extract.
