Configurable CRM with Setup Challenges
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate that Salesforce Sales Cloud is the centerpiece of our sales process. It simplifies managing leads, opportunities, account relationships, sales forecasts, and quotas, which were challenging to handle before. The product is very well designed and configurable to meet the needs of various types of companies, becoming a global standard. The availability of skilled resources worldwide is also a major advantage.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the data model that relates contacts to accounts in Salesforce Sales Cloud problematic. Many of our contacts have relationships with multiple customer accounts, leading to contact duplication. This is an unfortunate design flaw in the Salesforce data model. Although the unified contact feature in the data cloud partially resolves this issue, it would be more efficient if there was a single contact record that could be related to multiple accounts through a junction or relationship object. This would have been a more effective design.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Salesforce Sales Cloud centralizes our sales process, improving lead management, opportunity tracking, account relationships, and forecasting, making tasks easier than before.
Great Unified Data, but Needs WhatsApp Integration for LATAM Clients
What do you like best about the product?
Data is unified in one place, user-centric.
What do you dislike about the product?
WhatsApp integration would be great, on a standard levers. Specially for latam clients where WhatsApp is widely used.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Consolidated data. We had diverse sources, we now unified everything in salesforce. It also solved visibility of data.
Great for Data and Automation, but Unintentional Integration Gaps Possible for Complex Businesses

Exceptional data collection, process automation, and practically unlimited potential of scalability.
What do you dislike about the product?
For very complex businesses not leveraging other Salesforce products (ie - Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, etc.), it may lead to unintentional disparity between data to provide a full customer journey.

It helps solve very complex sales process and data collection.

What do you like best about the product?
I find Salesforce Sales Cloud's setup process impressively smooth and easy, feeling like butter, and the initial implementation is well-supported. It offers superb opportunity management with accurate information updates. The platform provides invaluable visibility into areas of opportunity, enhancing management, tracking activities, and revenue assessment.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user mentioned that they think the platform should be something they need and love to see improvements, particularly noting that there are too many files.

I use Salesforce Sales Cloud for visibility in opportunity areas, efficient pipeline management, and enhanced sales tracking, leading to better revenue management.
Great for Partner Organization, but Reporting Has a Learning Curve

Helps me organize my partners, their activity, and the revenue generated

The reports can be difficult to build if you are not skilled at making them. There is a learning curve with it.

I’ve only ever used sales cloud so I don’t know what life is like without it

The ease of use for our sales team. To get the job done.

Highly Customizable Platform with Great Integrations, but Complex Fiscal Management
What do you like best about the product?
This platform is highly customizable, making it especially suitable for niche industries. It can be tailored by users with minimal technical expertise as well as by experienced developers. There are also plenty of built-in features available, allowing you to get started quickly if you prefer not to customize. Additionally, it integrates smoothly with nearly all business software solutions.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the broad array of features delivers considerable power, it can also make overall management feel a bit intimidating. Without careful attention, you may quickly find yourself facing a difficult situation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use this tool to manage donors, nurture prospects, and oversee moves management. It also helps me keep track of donor engagement and recognition, making it easier to stay organized and maintain strong relationships.

360 view of our clients, commercial follow-ups. The benefit is better control and more closures.
Great for Collaboration and Insights, but Lacks Integrated Quoting
What do you like best about the product?
Having leads and opportunities combined with account-specific insights is very helpful. The ability to collaborate on account plans also adds significant value.

I am unable to generate quotes directly within the system, so I have to switch between several different tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to collaborate within the same environment is a major advantage. Sales teams are able to come together and focus on key opportunities more effectively.
