Great for Sales Teams but Challenging for Niche Customization
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Salesforce Sales Cloud’s mobile capabilities, allowing our reps to operate efficiently on the go. The real-time visibility across various processes and systems has solved our visibility issues and burnouts, enabling management to track sales activities and team performance effectively. The ease of use and flexibility for teams to input and retrieve relevant data, which is accessible to leadership, stands out.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find customization with Salesforce Sales Cloud challenging for our niche company. While we try to use as much of the out-of-the-box features as possible, we still require customization, which has proven difficult. Specifically, handling quotes, scheduling, and translating products into sales orders and work orders have been particularly challenging. Also, there might be room for improvement in the proposal aspect.

Sales Cloud is the best solution for commercial efficiency. A tool where you can track your customer opportunity life cycle from end to end.

It lacks the option to integrate AI directly into the sales flows, which is a limitation for those looking to enhance their processes with artificial intelligence.

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Salesforce Sales Cloud for its scalability, AI insights, and strong reputation, which made it stand out to us. The setup was straightforward, making it easy to get started. I love the centralized lead capture and automated lead assignment, which have unified our lead management process. The features such as email to lead, web form to lead, and text messages to lead make the experience seamless. Additionally, using Salesforce with DocuSign for contract and signature management has been beneficial. The territory management and mapping features are valuable for maintaining cohesive sales team assignments.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the process of building dashboards to be cumbersome and difficult. Especially in the context of forecasting, this makes it challenging to effectively coach sales reps.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Salesforce Sales Cloud to eliminate lead tracking issues, creating a centralized system for leads, automating assignments, and notifications, which boosts sales efficiency.

Powerful Sales Pipeline Visibility, but Complex Customization in Salesforce Sales Cloud
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Salesforce Sales Cloud is how it gives our teams complete visibility of the sales pipeline in real time. We can easily track opportunities, automate follow-ups, and forecast more accurately. The integration with Marketing Cloud also helps us connect leads to personalized journeys, improving both efficiency and conversion rates.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform is extremely powerful, but its flexibility also makes it complex. Customization and automation setup often require technical expertise, so small adjustments can take longer than expected. However, once properly configured, it performs very well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Salesforce Sales Cloud has helped us organize and centralize our entire sales process. Before, we managed leads and opportunities across multiple spreadsheets and emails, which made tracking and reporting difficult.
Now, with Sales Cloud, we have real-time visibility of every opportunity, automated follow-ups, and more accurate forecasting. This has improved collaboration between teams, reduced response times, and given leadership a clearer understanding of pipeline health and performance.

Easy out of the box functionality that can be set up quickly to start selling with the ability to completely customize solutions

List view columns are not drag and drop.

Good visibility into entire sales process for all applicable users from AE to C-Level
