Beautiful visualisations with drag and drop system

The very user friendly interface and the diversity of possibilities.

Sometimes it takes time and trial and error to get the data in the right format

What do you like best about the product?
Fast, easy visualizations. I particularly enjoy dumping some data into tableau for a first look to get a handle on trends
What do you dislike about the product?
sometimes difficult to edit variables the way I need to within the program, but mostly the calculate function works. The paid version is expensive & I haven't been able to convince my company to purchase.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use tableau public mostly for data exploration or creating quick charts to show others. I love using it for maps or to show a lot of different ways of looking at the same data set to my stakeholders. Tableau is just so fast!
Great Tool For Reviewing Large Amounts of Data
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Tableau is a visual dashboard with a lot of various reports that can be utilized to tell a story with your data.
What do you dislike about the product?
Navigation of the dashboard comes with time, so setting up training is a good idea.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tableau makes it easy to view and sort through data, saving time to get to results!

What do you like best about the product?
Tableau puts the most relevant information at your fingertips monthly. It allows you to weed out the irrelevant data.
What do you dislike about the product?
Tableau is so data heavy, it can, at times, run a little slower.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have over 300 different workbooks in Tableau that allow us to reference and cross reference within minutes. We are able to track everything we need that involves weekly and monthly evaluation.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
At the very least, Tableau deserves a shot. I can't think of any other tool that aggregates data that way Tableau does.

Tableau is very simple to use and it's easy to customize my reports.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that Tableau frequently crashes and will crash for a long period of time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The only business issue, would be when the system crashes. Benefits would be that when it's working its quick and extremely resourceful.

What do you like best about the product?
Tableau takes my complex data and makes it easy to review for people who hate looking at numbers. It visualizes thousands of rows of data seamlessly and quickly. It is highly customizable with formatting options and easy to use color selections. There is also a great online community for help

Product and tutorial support online. Really easy to use and learn on your own -user friendly. Can easily shar and publish reports for others in the company to use.

Not as easy to manipulate reporting.Very coding heavy and must have some prior experience with understanding coding.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Currently only using the personal version-company has not decided to purchase server capability to fully utilize the power of the tool.
