The platform makes it simple to generate reports and create visualizations, which makes sharing information with leadership straightforward.

Overall, I would prefer if adding additional data sources from third parties were more straightforward.

Insightful Analytics, but Pricey
What do you like best about the product?
I find Tableau to be a very helpful tool; it's intuitive and easy to use once implemented. The analytics it provides are insightful, allowing for a deeper dive into crucial data points and offering suggestions for efficiency improvements. The visual presentation of analytics with charts and dashboards is very beneficial, aiding in making KPIs more robust and data more accessible on a single page. I also appreciate its seamless integration with Salesforce.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the pricing of Tableau challenging. The cost, including continued subscriptions and add-ons to the Salesforce application, is increasingly difficult to justify to leadership. While we derive significant value from the application, making a strong case for the expenditure remains a persistent hurdle.

I use Tableau for deeper data analysis, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness. Its dashboards integrate all relevant data points on one page, supporting strategic presentations.

Intuitive Interface and Great Support, but Lacking Mac Compatibility

The user interface is intuitive, offering a wide range of options to style and brand visualizations. There is also a strong support community and plenty of training resources available. Additionally, the platform provides a robust set of data connectors.

I'm unable to use Tableau Desktop on my MacBook at work.
