My impressions with tableau
What do you like best about the product?
I like the data visualization and customization abilities it provides.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times it is lagging and has performance issues
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Providing a dashboard and a full view of the data in one place .
Fast Visualizations with Tableau, but Pricey and Sluggish with Big Data
What do you like best about the product?
I’d say the best thing about Tableau is how quickly you can go from raw data to clear, interactive visuals — without needing to code much. Its drag-and-drop interface and strong data blending make it great for exploring data visually and spotting patterns fast.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can get heavy and slow with large datasets, the licensing is expensive, and customizing visuals beyond the defaults can be frustrating compared to tools like Power BI or custom dashboards in Python.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tableau helps turn complex, scattered data into clear visual insights. It solves problems like data silos, slow reporting, and limited visibility across departments. The benefit is faster, more informed decisions and less dependence on technical teams for everyday analysis.
Powerful Data Visualizations, Minor Setup Hiccups
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Tableau's ability to visualize very complex and huge datasets in a more user-friendly manner. The UI, graphical, and dashboard views are extremely helpful, especially when dealing with large amounts of data.
What do you dislike about the product?
I found the initial setup and product configuration to be challenging. It was difficult to find some technical details, and while the account executive team was helpful, these aspects were still quite tough to navigate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Tableau to visualize complex, large datasets in a user-friendly interface, making data analytics more efficient with helpful UI, graphical, and dashboard views.
Great for Marketing Visualizations, but Download Process Is Cumbersome

I love tableau for doing graphs and visualizations for marketing data relating to our audience

I do think it is cumbersome the fact that you have to download it is hard.

I love the fact that it can create good observability for us

There's a bit of a learning curve to get it dialed in.
