What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Tableau's superior functionality and its seamless integration capabilities, which stand out compared to alternatives. Its ease of setup is particularly beneficial for our operations. I find Tableau's user interface intuitive and easy to navigate, which makes it straightforward to create reports and dashboards, especially for users familiar with Salesforce. Its seamless integration with Salesforce through AppExchange is incredibly convenient. The ability to consolidate data from various unrelated sources into cohesive analysis reports is a significant benefit. Tableau's UI components are useful for generating seamless charts and graphics, making complex data easily understandable. The experience is seamless, facilitating even admins in creating effective reports.

The learning curve with Tableau's user interface can be challenging initially, though it becomes manageable over time.

I use Tableau to consolidate data from various sources, creating comprehensive analyses and reports, which simplifies understanding complex datasets for my team.
Great for Data Insights, But Not Fully Self-Service for Business Users

It allows businesses to view data from multiple perspectives, which in turn supports faster decision-making.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is challenging to empower business users to create dashboards and reports on their own without some training. IT should not have to act as an intermediary for building dashboards and reports for business users. Ideally, business users should be able to generate reports or create dashboards on the fly themselves.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Currently, we are in the process of implementing a solution to obtain standard sales reports from the ERP system.

There isn't much to mention, as most of our use cases are addressed.

Tableau can neatly aggregate massive amounts of data quickly and it can bring in data from many different sources

Tableau does not make it very easy to drill into the source data. For example how reports and dashboards does natively in Salesforce.
