What do you like best about the product?
I like the maps and visualizations in tableau. So easy to use and drag drop!

Nothing I can think of. It gives me everything I need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am responsible for creating visualizations and meaningful insights in tableau to increase sales and profit revenue. Tableau is absolutely great!

- Can take time to execute large report especially when you want to blend data

Easy-to-learn, easy-to-use data visualization tool
What do you like best about the product?
The best part about Tableau, I feel, is the drag-and-drop interface. This helps any novice user to learn the tool and start using it very quickly. Filters and parameters provide a nice touch of interactivity to visualizations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of templates for commonly-used visualizations such as donuts, radars and speedometers which makes the user resort to workarounds.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am a management consultant and I've worked predominantly with manufacturing companies. I've used Tableau to create visualizations that enabled my clients to reduce procurement costs, monitor building HVAC systems, identify bottlenecks in shop floor operations etc. In the procurement scenario, we found that the client would be able to save $2.00 on each order of a specific part if they procured it from a different supplier. In another situation, we were able to identify process bottlenecks, the elimination of which would enable the client to produce 30 more products per month.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Will recommend it over Microsoft Power BI.

What do you like best about the product?
The user can easily create graphs and create calculated fields by just dragging and dropping the fields required.
The dashboards are very easy to create and a user does not have to have specific knowledge of any technology to understand Tableau.

it is quite expensive to buy and cannot be used for personal/small business use.

Tableau offers free usage for students. I recommend that all students learn tableau if possible as it does not involve any technical knowledge to learn.

> Please use tableau if you are not too much focused on getting data dumps
> It is recommended that users invest in a good data blending tool in order to prepare and cleanse the data before using it in tableau

kissflow provided a great experience to user with flexible tabs to design for the administrator.
What do you like best about the product?
Flexibility of the administration and formulas. Easy for users and replied to the internal process office need.

the support document was not detailed enough
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
a lot of paper work in the office. So the process saved cost to the company and space as all the documents were saved in the cloud and easily accessible. Control of the administration to identify and speedup delays. Anand was of great help.

What do you like best about the product?
Tableau has ability to connect to almost any available data source. And in many cases you can blend your data.
What do you dislike about the product?
Designing your dashboard and applying formatting to all pieces is challenging. If you really like to have your dashboards look great - you have to spend some time on layout and formatting. There is no easy way to use a theme or apply formatting from one dashboard to other.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Tableau as our organization wide data reporting tool. It took us some time but with the help of Tableau we are able to adapt self serve analytics model.

It has good visualization features. I liked the Heapmap with locations. You get a wide variety of variations to choose from for better visualization of data.

expensive licensing. Need learning curve to get used to it. Documentation is not great.

What do you like best about the product?
Most importantly, the graphics and visualization showing different data elements clearly help define our company's engagement activities and help our organizations make decisions as a result of what we see. They also help me and my team explain trends and statistics much more easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have noticed that when our data expands t include more than just names but multiple variables that connect with other page views, data freezes. Tableau Server stop working effectively. Filters may not work and then, visualization is skewed.
