Great for Dynamic Chart Building, but Developer Dependency Slows Us Down
What do you like best about the product?

Our current bottleneck is requiring a developer to design our dashboards and there is a huge backlog.

Understanding our business trends in real time
Tableau and Salesforce (Integration Potential)
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how Tableau easily connects with Salesforce, allowing for effortless integration for our company. Additionally, I find Tableau Pulse incredibly useful as it connects with various APIs, integrating market data and our own numbers in one place, which is extremely advantageous for presenting updated data to the leadership.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think Tableau is not very user-friendly for common users. I had to hire two people to help implement the project and start using it. Additionally, the internal training on Tableau could be improved; it would be ideal if Tableau had something similar to Trailhead to facilitate learning and implementation, allowing me to use internal resources instead of hiring external partners.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Tableau to update essential data for leadership, improving our exposure. I also integrate various APIs with Pulse, unifying market and internal data.
Powerful Data Combinations, But Eager for Cloud Upgrade
What do you like best about the product?
That it can do more complex data combinations than native Salesforce reports and dashboards
What do you dislike about the product?
We are still on the server version and can’t wait to get to the cloud
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it when we want to combine data outside of Salesforce

Consolidating statewide data
Essential for Business Reviews, Slight Learning Curve
What do you like best about the product?
I find Tableau's setup process easy and intuitive, as it merely requires connecting to the correct data source to start working on dashboards smoothly. Additionally, I greatly appreciate the business intelligence dashboards offered by Tableau, which have been immensely useful for our monthly business reviews as they allow flexible data analysis and quick customization during demos.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think sometimes I feel that the use of the interface is a little bit difficult to navigate for the first time. Although once I got used to it, it became more appealing and easier to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Tableau for business reviews, enhancing data analysis and presentation. It simplifies creating dashboards as per leaders' needs on-the-go, making reviews efficient and interactive.

This issue is closely related to our current implementation, but data segregation and access filtering are quite challenging.

It provides a unified view of data collected from various sources.
User-Friendly with Advanced Features, but Should Be Default in Salesforce
What do you like best about the product?

I’m disappointed that this isn’t the default tool available in Salesforce.
