I have one year experience in using SQL Monitor
What do you like best about the product?
1) Multiple SQL server can be monitored simultaneously.
2) Real time graph helps to analyse the health of SQL server.
3) SQL monitor reports can be reviewed in different perspective.
4) User can get alert for any discrepancy or error without having to review graph continuously.

What do you dislike about the product?
1) it do not provide any fix or suggestions to fix performance issues.
2) The constant monitoring of SQL server present load on sql server.
3) there are not enough templates to monitor server.
4) monitor reports are not customisable to be sent to DBA or SQL Developer

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1) We are getting auto notification for health check on sql server.
2) It provides monitor reports. These reports are easy way to find issues in the system.
3) it helps to have effective resource management by reviewing the utilisation of resources.

It is a great tool to monitor SQL server health.
Great Tool for SQL Monitoring
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it is a very comprehensive monitoring tool. It shows an SQL admin all that is needed to successfully monitor the health and performance of an installed SQL Server
What do you dislike about the product?
I found that there is a significant learning curve to overcome to fully utilize the benefits of SQL Monitor.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Prior to using SQL Monitor, my company experienced numerous issues with our SQL server. File locks, space allocation, CPU usage were just a few of the issues discovered and resolved with the use of SQL Monitor.
Great idea,, a little clumsy in the execution
What do you like best about the product?
The program sets up easily, makes connections to all of your servers intuitively.
What do you dislike about the product?
During monitoring, the hit on server performance was greater than I believe it should have been; the level of statistics gathered was good, but not enough to warrant the incursion on performance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monitoring several medium-sized databases on two servers. Gave some insights into how server resources were being used.
