Best platform for project management and communication
What do you like best about the product?
Monday.com is by far the most intuitive project management system we've tried at my organization. We struggled for more than a year with Slack but it seemed to only create more confusion. Monday is easy to use and keeps us on track.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing was a bit confusing but we ultimately just went for the pro package.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're tracking deadlines more efficiently and fewer things are falling through the cracks.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely recommend giving it a shot. It's flexible and user friendly, and more than worth the investment.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can share with the team of people on a project or assignment so that everyone is fully involved. I like the way due dates on deliverables can be set up as well. It's easy to share boards and items by tagging the user and also using the tag terms to help search.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not being able to print out my boards - exporting to excel doesn't have the utility I need to grab a printable view of a board.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organizational project management and assignment tracking. I came on as the Director of Marketing - and the one person on the marketing team - this is a method to document all of my work for evaluations and also so if anyone needs to check on the status of assignments it's available to anyone on our Monday account.
Fully customized, fully organized - GAME CHANGER
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to color organize - this feature allows our team to assign colors to client profiles so everything is easy to see at a glance. I also highly appreciate the ability to sort the pulse order by column - sorting by date allows me to track which projects need my attention first, and sorting by color ensures I don't miss a single checkbox for any particular client.
Monday.com has saved me from missing a deadline or forgetting a detail on more than one occasion. Whenever something new comes through my inbox - the first thing I do is create a pulse before I even open the project.

What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I wish I could do differently is having different columns within groups on the same board. Sometimes I need to have different trackers for different clients. There is a way around this by using multiple boards, and they are unlimited so not having this feature has not been a deal breaker.
Some of my team members have been having a more difficult time organizing their boards but have appreciated the ease with which the boards I created can be applied. Easy to learn.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The hands-down most valuable feature we've encountered is the ability to track individual projects and promotions on the timeline feature, which allows me to stay on top of due dates in a timely fashion. I no longer have to sort through the schedule, checking and double checking dates - it's all there, in order, so I always know where to pick up and where I left off. Huge time saver!

Do your research - check out sister sites, explore your options. You'll end up picking Monday and you'll be so happy you did!

What do you dislike about the product?
As it is so flexible, it can get a little complex keeping it all tied together. Spend some time prototyping workflows to develop the best ones that suit you, then lock them down!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it to manage our software and solution delivery track and deliver changes. Pretty much everything and anything.
We use forms for client data collection and surveys. We use the views to allow clients to see the project status.

Think about what you want your boards to look like prior to implementing, but know that they can always evolve as you learn the product and your understanding expands.

Construction Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
I love that this can be used as a primary task tracker in addition to e-mail. With so much e-mail being sent, the inbox can become cluttered quickly and tasks and follow up can be lost. Monday prevents this because it can be used via the website or an app and you can quickly add your tasks in a single place and assign. It much more functional than Outlook.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing because it works so well and you can easily track tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm able to keep track of multiple tasks assigned to multiple people working on multiple projects. Things do not get missed if you use this app properly.

What do you like best about the product?
The fact that I can do more and more things as my team and I learn how to use it. Started using boards to track assignments, then added dates, and integration to calendars, now we share files, and communicate updates, and track expenses and import spreadsheets, and use Gantt, and many more things.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a "Hour" column, to add a time for a meeting, or the time of a presentation or review. I would also like to be able to use the timeline /gantt/ view and crteate tasks that are dependent and related to each other, as predecessors and successors.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking multiple projects with complex teams, different kinds of staff, teams, due dates, stages, etc. of a complex team with multiple creative styles of work- Tracking multiple projects on one place, updating projects, filtering by staff and team, keeping things on time, getting reminders and not missing deadlines. Integrating tools and styles of management through different teams: people who like to use spreadsheets, work-flow boards, calendars and gantt charts all can work together in one place.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give it a try and view the videos. It looks simple and it is, but as you learn more features and capabilities are revealed, it turns out to be a powerful tool.

What do you like best about the product?
Monday.com gives me and my team visibility to our teams big projects and weekly Top 3 initiatives. It allows for open communication-in-context, and subsequently, accountability.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a bit more automation already built in, but at least there are ways to implement automations where desired. Honestly, there isn't much to not like; Monday.com is great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Monday.com for project management. We track major milestones and use the checklist feature to bullet-out smaller action items within a larger milestone. This has allowed for more projects to get completed AND for more of them being on time or ahead of schedule.
We also use this for tracking ongoing registrations, guideline requirements, and weekly to-dos.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
You have to be committed to using it consistently. Daily accountability will build habits that allow for regular use. Set expectations for communication as a group upfront, that way it's clear to all users how they should be using the system.

What do you like best about the product?
Monday.com is so easy to use, and it looks good! I love how customizable everything is. The service team is very responsive and they are constantly adding new features and new integrations.
What do you dislike about the product?
The name is a bit confusing but we can find ways around it!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday.com helps us keep track of projects and break things down into different steps. We are able to share project plans and timelines with clients. We also use Monday.com to track leads and our sales cycle.

What do you like best about the product?
In comparison to other programs out there, this one has the most flexibility and customization to fit any business need. The ability to customize the templates and even create your own template to use for later makes the whole process so much easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not much that I do not like. There are a few tweaks that are needed but the development team is always there to hear suggestions. The customer service department is the most responsive that I have ever encountered. You put in a request and it gets answered within 2 mins.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monday.com give you not only a platform for data but it also gives you a visual of all of your data. This has really made my business easier to track and reach deadlines. I always look for that small red dot up on the top of the screen, this means that they have developed a new item to enhance our boards. And I LOVE IT!!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I urge you to test drive Monday.com. You do not need to be a creative person or a die hard spreadsheet person, you only need to adapt your information into one of their 100's of templates or create your own. Done! You won't regret it.

What do you like best about the product?
I guess what what I love most about Monday is how adaptable it is! I can track inventory, set schedules, assign jobs to employees, create to do lists, add photos and files to updates. It's incredibly easy to customize Boards and pulses to track and organize everything I do on a daily basis.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to be able to set individual reminders for certain tasks. So that I get a tone or pop up anytime something is almost due, not just a visual reminder but an audible one.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use a great deal of paint and I've been able to track what paints we have in stock, their quantities, conditions, and what I need to reorder. Monday has helped immensely with ensuring I have the paints I need for each project in stock when I need them.
I'm also able to track licenses from the companies we deal with to ensure their credentials are current before shipping. It helps us stay in compliance with regulations we must follow.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
I highly recommend Monday.com to any busy small business. It's easy to modify and customize to any business type. You could even use it for active clubs for delegation of responsibilities and volunteer opportunities!
