This is the third major team and project management tool we've used, and it's a home run.
What do you like best about the product?
Monday.com is incredibly intuitive. Within just moments of signing up, you will be up and running with multiple boards, fields, etc. I love how easy it is to customize boards for our needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Monday is a little bit rudimentary. There is very little opportunity to connect data or import it efficiently, which is why we also use Airtable to manage other aspects of our projects. This works for us, but I could see how it might be inconvenient for other business models.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are tracking multiple calendars and projects, including client directories, project schedules, tasks, etc.. Monday.com is visually very interpretable, so I can share a table with someone, and they don't need to be familiar with Monday.com to understand what it is.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You may need other software to fully meet all of the needs of your company, and I think that's fairly normal and not something that should deter you from giving it a shot. If you are regularly handling seasonal employees who need to be onboarded quickly, Monday is incredible.
Topnotch Project Management Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Provides unique capabilities that boost the performance of team as well as the productivity. Private shared board provides user specific customization. The most trusted collaboration tool for employees. Can leave live comments on visuals.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a bit complex to learn in the beginning if you are new to it. There is a lot of formula coding which makes it a bit complex.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The board concept helps me to track the project progress and provides deep insight on the tasks too. Main board helps in listing all the project tasks together if we are working on multiple projects. Analytics and reporting provided is of top quality.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Best project management tool.
A pretty solid project management tool
What do you like best about the product?
I this Monday is very easy to use, and there is a lot of capabilities, even with the free version.
What do you dislike about the product?
We had some trouble with the automation - we set up a form to create a marketing request form, and were not being notified when people actually filled it out.
Wish you could customize the columns within a board instead of needing them all to be the same.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
project management, organization, staying on par with tasks of folks i manage, tracking a budget
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great project management tool. Can view your boards in multiple formats, and is great to use with a team.
Works amazing for collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to customize based on your work flow, for instance, the marketing team has several different branches, so each one can use it to fit their needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside I’ve come across so far is that I wish I could more easily remember to document everything I’m doing in it. Sometimes I start and almost fully finish a project before I remember to put it into Monday if it’s a small and fast project. So really it’s just a personal thing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It’s so much easier to document what you have accomplished and what is in the agenda for the future. And it allows visibility to management for everything anyone is working on so we can spend less time of our week documenting and trying to remember what we were working on just to report it for our CEO. It also allows a better work flow for people to request projects from our team vs how they used to just come tell us what they needed and we had to write it down somewhere or keep track of the email.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you need a platform to easily communicate with your team, submit requests, see into projects and get updates on them without having to dig for information, and have clear visibility into each team that will be using it, whether it’s deadlines or blocks in the road, Monday.con is brilliant!
And I used many other products before, this one is just a cut above everything else out there.

I can't expressed how pleased I am with Monday.com. I don't want to use anything else.
What do you like best about the product?
It is so customizable, without being overwhelming to use. In it's simplest form, it is still so very useful, but it's true capacity is only limited by your creativity.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's not much to dislike. I wish there was a space on each board for general project notes. That's not a dislike though, so much as a wish list.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it to store information, track deadlines and to do lists, create itineraries, and organize my thoughts.
great for efficiency
What do you like best about the product?
info boxes--you can store all files in one place so everyone on team can access
What do you dislike about the product?
sometimes teammates confuse info boxes and updates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
keep track of whole team
Recommendations to others considering the product:

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I have to restart Monday.com a few times as it shows a blank white page.
Would like the tips and tricks to be in short video clip form.
Suggestions:
Perhaps an offline version for certain saved data?

still piloting, but love it for my team
What do you like best about the product?
how insanely supportive the monday team is,
a - responding to all questions and issues (quickly!), not matter how dumb it may be
b - the rapid development and uptake of monday community ideas! rad to see the progress on things so quickly. not just because they have high votes (as some app dev teams do), but because you read the idea and your team gets it (or asks more questions), thinks it makes sense, and just know it should happen.

of the list of pros and cons i've been keeping while I got to know the app over the past month... I think the only things I haven't been able to conquer with the tool for our needs are:
1-sub-tasks with the same level of metadata as the parent task
2-subtasks with some (but not all) of the metadata as the parent task
3-out of box relationships between summary level details and task level details (while we can create this through through a complex set of status columns and linking... it would be great for the templates to includes a relational set up (like: Programs > Projects > Tasks > Sub-Tasks)
4-Customized experience (for internal and client facing interaction)
5-Customized branding (for client facing interaction)
6-extracts of data that are plain and don't have monday logos/colors etc.(makes us not want to share projects with clients)
7-more control over what is included in notifications and how they look.
8-time tracking data extraction and summary in dashboards not detailed/plain enough
I'm hopeful of the app for the future though, as I think we can work around these things in other ways for the interim. Now... to convince my team!

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Time in the Monday community is worth it! Learned a lot of the ways to do things from other members and responses from the monday team. The tool is so progressive that not everything makes sense to everyone out of the gate (even though it's super user friendly!), use the community to set up your instance!
Beautiful design
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to use, beautifully designed and color coded. Great for managing small and large teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
I personally don't like the email notification feature, just because I don't use or need it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps keep track of tasks that need completed from our whole team, a central location to view status/progress.
