DYNATRCE is an excellent product
What do you like best about the product?
Very user friendly. The analysis is so cool and integrates with all the technologies we use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Support for mainframes is missing and the pricing is very high

Absolutely nothing , I LOVE Dynatrace and its offerings. Highly recommend

Faster turn around on the issue discovery and resolution. That translated to happy customer experience

Amazing simple to start monirting and gathering useful stats on systems.

UI is not user friendly and take time to understand how to navigate and extract the data.

Understanding real performance impact when an incident occurs. Otherwise we would only guess

Ease of use. Love the AI, and how efficiently it brings issues to our attention.

Learning to utilize the tool within our price point. And how that relates to the new features.

Issue detection. Monitoring. Discovered a number of issues that previously would have gone undetected.

Real time alerts and in depth analysis, and more specifilly the AI alerting is amazing. I can’t stress the baseline analysis enough.

UI could use some more in terms of making it more understandable.

Dynatrace hard to put it in production but it worth it

That everything in the older versions has to be done in the standalone app

Financial issues, overall transactional issues and sometimes dB issues

What do you like best about the product?
Dashdboards! It’s super convenient to have every piece of information right were do you need it, it’s great that you can add or remove chart or reports according to your or your business needs.
Another really good aspect it’s the Monitoring tools, almost every piece of your application can be monitored, server resources, data bases, if its at Dynatrace reach you can be sure that you can keep track of the information (Which by the way it has been proved by our team to be accurate and reliable)

What do you dislike about the product?
It may be complex at first, specially if you are a non technical resource, documentation helps but it’s a complex application that requires time and dedication.
Migration between services can be complex and documentation not always provide every piece of information on how to actually do it (although customer support is really good)
Even saying that, once you get the overall picture and play around with it it will be like any other limb of your organization body

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main one is user usability of our applications, before it was hard to generate usability reports that reflected an accurate status, now its peace of cake! We can present real information with confidence (technical or non technical users all the same)
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give it a try with the demos, the product works and make wonders, just be sure that it’s the right fit for your organization. Also, be sure to detect which components and where those can be used. Piece of advice, before a whole install/migration separate your business components so you can understand which kind of information you will get

Road map was too broad in dates. `hard to plan future action items when timelines aren’t agile

Deep monitoring of IAM platforms. `localizing threats

The integrated service view and rapid ai problem discovery makes resolving issues quick and easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Manual configuration to get the most from a lot of service areas. Difficult to setup initially due to major issues with their managed system installer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solved a visibility problem. Can now quickly see impact of problems and a root cause. Helped correlate a lot of micro services into a cohesive service layer.
