What do you like best about the product?
Purepaths, transaction flow, infrasturcture details, baselining, RUM

Very good APM software and improving
What do you like best about the product?
One of my best functionalities is the quickness of the transactions dicoveries and the mapping of those transactions with barely any overhead on the systems
What do you dislike about the product?
Limitations on numbers of dahsboards and price of software
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Two of my preferred examples is that we found external software Companies having trouble with their software and Purepath helped us identify the issue for those companies.

I really like the end to end transaction tracing
What do you dislike about the product?
I don’t dislike anything. Because the product functionality is so extensive, its intimidating to our users who’ve never used it before. Thanks so our SE, Jeff Yarbrough, I’ve become completely comfortable with the setup and use
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We’re finding issues in our back end infrastructure that no one was previously able to diagnose/fix. We’re also finding coding issues within our mobile applications that allow us to optimize the user experience faster and better than ever before.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure your Ops team and developers really know your infrastructure or make sure you hire quality consultants who can map out your architecture efficiently. This is imperative in proper implementation so you an leverage all of the amazing functionality Dynatrace provides.

Single and easy installation on hosts for container services

Quickly finds root cause of performance issues

Dynatrace is market leader in APM space but it’s pricing is preventing us to move forward in APM space

Performance issues
Excellent product, with a few too many manual steps
What do you like best about the product?
Easy installation and discovery. Maps out infrastructure, services, and applications to give a total view of your product.
What do you dislike about the product?
The lack of API support; everything that I currently need to do through the web interface should be done through API calls (I.e., set anomalies, enable plugins, etc). Additionally, I would like a way to configure the agent after installation so that data can be sent to a different environment, this would simplify our dev/testing/prod/EUDP concerns.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We lacked full support and error tracking across various services in our application. With Dynatrace we can get full insight into our applications’s Performance and issues. The root cause analysis process when using Dynatrace is greatly simplified.

Major improvements in AI, log monitoring and access to data sources allow more precise responses and wider observability of the infrastructure.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing in particular, we will wait a few months of use to see.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The major challenge we have is to determine the root cause of errors. With the old tools, it is very difficult to find the cause quickly. With Dynatrace it is much faster and customers are happy because the downtime has been reduced significantly.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just to find the root causes during major incidents is worth trying Dynatrace. Not to mention the other features that are offered by the tool.

Nothing really. Love to buy more licenses to bring it for all the apps in our org.

Application availability to the customers. Ability to alert support staff proactive before it becomes a major incident with customer impact.

Dynatrace offers reliable application performance monitoring and is very easy to deploy and use.

The installation of the agents. This inconvenience has been eliminated by going to Dynatrace SaaS.
