What do you like best about the product?
Leader in CMT automation platform, well documented so easy to learn, biggest communauty.
What do you dislike about the product?
Executor time duration which sometimes become a painfull process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Standardization on operational process and delivery gaining reliability.

This is a great product
What do you like best about the product?
Ansible Automation Platform gives us an easy web interface to allow anyone to spin up a new production or development server within minutes and no skills required!
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have many downsides that I've run in to yet. I do wish Ansible would get more inventory integrations.

Giving developers an easy way to deploy new development environments without the assistance of IT.

What do you like best about the product?
Based on ansible which is agentless and the dashboard

The price, it's very expansive with a big infra
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to let operator execute the playbook
AAP allowed us to improve processes and free up staff for further engineering.
What do you like best about the product?
We were able to speed up server patching and remove user error in the process. This not only helped our security footprint, but allowed our Linux team to focus on business improvements.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cost of licensing. Charging per node led to less integration from other teams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Server builds, patching, security compliance, network automation. The benefit is that we are freeing up staff to continue to engineer solutions to improve processes.
Ansible = Swiss Army Knife
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to consolidate and automate a multitude of functions across the enterprise and give such a strong ROI to the end user

Whats not to like? Ansible is great. Havent found something I dislike yet

I sell Ansible, and by far it is the easiest product in red hat's catalogue to quickly stand up and show value

The ability to deploy, build, modify all nodes within the enterprise

User interface is ok, but at times wish I could see a better of machines etc.

It is solving time consuming tasks that otherwise would take many individual hours to perform.

i dislike the price of red hat ansible automation platform. i am a vendor and i have some difficultes to seel ansible automation platform because the price is very hith for a little nodes.

ansible automation platform save me when i sync dynatrace tool with servicenow and ansible automation platform. issue was reported to dynatrace and dynatrace run a task on ansible automation platform. ansible automation platform execute a playbook and resolve my issue. close the ticket on servicenow
Not as easy as just writing bash

Reusable playbooks that can be combined for more complex tasks

I prefer commonly used coding languages with IDE support over writing complicated yaml that is specific to a product. Not idempotent, no state management.

We're using it as a self-service for users to configure APIs in 3Scale or order queues in amq

It misses some core features of modern IaC tools like State Management.
