What do you like best about the product?
Operation system which is too secure as it requires kernel level of programming

Time required too much time to get into the the kernel of the operating system

Linux operating system is free and available in market place. Easy to use also used in cloud platform

KVM is a open source hypervisor for server virtualization. You can do pretty much anything for free.
What do you like best about the product?
You can customize your needs accordingly on KVM. Pretty much all the necessary features are available for free. It's secure with open source community.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI part could be made much better. The way to launch the UI is pretty basic that could be improved. While checking the VM state, we can make it to give more status of the VM.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping communities virtualize for free with top notch tech.
Secure and customizable OS for enterprise workload
What do you like best about the product?
We can customise it as per the client's requirement. Also, the time to build a server is less. The support you get in case of any major outage is very good.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing so far. I have been using it for the last ten years.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are hosting various applications on Linux virtual servers. The operational cost is less than the other OS. Besides you get regular patches which ensure the OS is safe and stable.
KVM - Virtulaization made easy
What do you like best about the product?
KVM is one of the most user friendly virtualisation tool that I have ever seen. KVM makes live migration easy and the performance and security of the product is really commendable.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times we have seen CPU and memory getting over commiitted, but it is fixed in the latest version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
KVM helped us in resolving the long wait of procuring and provisioning new servers. We are able to create new VM's within the stipulated time and this has increased the business turnaround a lot.
Best in Class Virtualization Tool
What do you like best about the product?
We are using KVM as using virtualization tool and without any doubts I can see that this is one of the best tool I have seen so far. Just like any other enterprise servers, we can easily create VM's based on our requirement like CPU, Memory, Disk etc and are easily customizable. Cool features like upgrading resoources seamlessly is an added advantage.
What do you dislike about the product?
Support for some specific sets of processor family is missing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using KVM inorder to have different environments for Dev, Test and Prod workloads. Its easy to create new VM's and tear down used VM's thus simplifying operations tasks a lot.

What do you like best about the product?
The best security and system stability for PC, server and accounting applications and security in computer networks. RedHat has the best tools for safety and security in high-performance workplaces.

I have no problems for all the functions that I need. It works perfect.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am a software developer and RedHat with its free code allows me to have more security and stability in my applications and performance stability, the support team helps me implement more functions than those already acquired.

In my opinion KVM is easy to configure and manage. Its also light weight compared to other virtualization tools and cost effective

I think the reboot time is bit slow. Need to work on it.

We update our servers all the time using beta versions. For the same, we observe some crashes and memory leaks. So we use KVM for the same.😌

My testing team has been able to achieve automation targets.
In my customer environment, we are able to give office desktop environments via Qemu on KVM.
Our file hosting is all on KVM.
Little firewalls in the network are implemented on KVM switches.
