RHEL is known for its rock-solid stability and reliability.
What do you like best about the product?
RHEL's ease of access and intuitive interface make it a joy to use. No more daily reboots for pesky Windows updates! The terminal access grants seamless communication with servers, while the unwavering stability is truly remarkable. As a database administrator, I've grown fond of RHEL over the years. Mastering it opens doors to understanding other Nix operating systems.RHEL’s vast array of features stands as a cornerstone of its strength and versatility
What do you dislike about the product?
The intricacies of RHEL's package dependency management, while ensuring system stability, can pose a challenge for novice users. A more streamlined approach, akin to Windows' automated dependency resolution, would alleviate user frustration and enhance the installation process.
RHEL's graphical user interface, while functional, falls short of the polish and intuitiveness of its Windows counterpart. A modernized GUI would bridge the gap between Windows and RHEL, attracting a broader user base.
The complexities of RHEL's filesystem administration can be daunting for beginners accustomed to Windows' straightforward file management. A simplified filesystem administration system would empower users to navigate their files and folders with ease, enhancing their overall experience.
In essence, RHEL's strengths lie in its robustness and reliability. However, embracing user-friendly enhancements in package dependency management, graphical interface, and filesystem administration would broaden RHEL's appeal, making it a compelling choice for a wider range of users, including beginners and those transitioning from Windows.

What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of compatibility with Microsoft apps or the windows apps,
Upgrade of operating system version is not that straight forward.

Most compatible and widely used enterprise linux
What do you like best about the product?
This is the go to option for any enterprise level software deployment server machine operating system. Widely used, almost all companies I have worked for uses RHEL for their servers. So, learning RHEL is really beneficial for the long term as you will find yourself using this very frequently in many oragnizations. Installng pacakges is really easy with yum in RHEL as it automatically installs all depencey pacakges along with proper compatible versions. The vast number of packages in yum is really all you will ever need for your work. Easy for software development and deployment as it is very easy to implement, integrate and run in RHEL.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Graphics User interface is not very good. So, it's good for servers but not user friendly for day to day other office or personal work. Not good for gaming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of the most reliable operating systems. We needed a failproof operating system for our software server as our software is very critical and needs to be up and available 24/7. Never faced any issues with RHEL. It's very easy to write scripts for RHEL to update the deployment so the downtime in case of an upgrade is very minimal.

Best Linux distribution for Enterprise servers
What do you like best about the product?
Red Hat enterprise Linux is best choice for highly critical workloads as it provide stability, long term support(upto 10 years) so that you have enough time for migration to new releases and last but not the least is its Enterprise 24x7 support which prevent your SLAs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Red hat enterprise Linux main focus is stability so you miss out the new software updates. Another important factor is cost, you have the open source CentOS distribution available for free but that doesn't come with any support so it is good for small businesses where you are not running any critical workloads.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We want our production Linux server to be available 24x7 and with maximum uptime for data transfer between onprem to cloud and vice versa and RHEL is helping us in running out databrokers in an efficient way which transfers the data. It provides us data backups across multiple environment which will help us in Disaster recovery scenarios.
RHEL a really good UNIX based OS
What do you like best about the product?
RHEL is much lighter than typical windows OS. once you start working on this you will love it more day by day. After regular updates and upgrades the features are top class and support much softwares now. And Linux OS are absolutely freely available on inter5and free to use allowing to customise it your own way.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing as such to dislike RHEL. If asked before would have one two points but nothing now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As it's open source and freely available on internet it's reducing cost of organisation on operating system. It's easy to use and customisable.
