Great platform for self-service analytics
What do you like best about the product?
Product is very well designed, lots of powerful functionality, easy to understand.
What do you dislike about the product?
The product itself is great! I want to get a clearer picture of the business case that helps my organization move from legacy BI to this next generation software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Democratizing data and analytics. Reducing the backlog in the BI group.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to get started and get to my first search.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing that I can think of really. I like the product

Self service BI for my internal and external users.
First time conference attendee and loving it!

The people and the community aspect. I'm learning so much!

I cant say i dislike anything. This has been great and i do not have any complaints.

I am in marketing, so i dont have problems that can be solved through thoughtspot per say, but so far so great! loving the learning process.

the visualizations that get generated based on the data along with the API and SDK

the cost is high for the use cases. Should also work directly out of mongo db as well.

It has been easy to use. Very user friendly

Uploading via CSV is going away soon - this option was helpful

We have data for our Sales Execs and partners at their fingertips. It is more real-time for all interested parties.
TS has some very cool features
What do you like best about the product?
Allows the user to get to very granular details.
What do you dislike about the product?
TS does not match similar search functionality as able on Google search (asking a simple question).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Testing POCs at this time to pinpoint demand forecast opportunities at a market/store level.
Exploring the opportunities to democratize data for our planning organization
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to explore using a common language for the end-user community that is not data scientists or SQL coders. Enabling others to be curious!
What do you dislike about the product?
The formulas can be complex when trying to analyze data/group data so essentially you need to learn how to build formulas which can be challenging for the general user.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Demand forecasting opportunities, the democratization of data so everyone can be their own business analyst, empowering the end-user to be curious...and the results are increased productivity that is driving KPI and financial improvement
New complementary way to experience BI

Drill down everywhere, great AI component, super user friendly thanks to a google like search experience

probably may be more good looking in terms of charts, but it seems new stuff is coming out soon

real self service BI for business users may benefits both business teams and BI experts at the same time.

ThoughtSport: search-bar Business Intelligence Tool
What do you like best about the product?
The search-bar and drill-down everywhere. You can easily search on all you data in seconds, without sql experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UX experience is maybe the thing that a I dislike, but they are improving very quickly!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
You can permit to anyone to search on their own data, so it's democratizing the access to informations!
We just rolled out to key stakeholders a few months ago
What do you like best about the product?
It's the fastest way for stakeholders to get answers they need and share them without bogging down analysts with ad hoc requests. Search + liveboards are the features that sold us.
What do you dislike about the product?
Support tickets are sometimes slow to get addressed and solved. It would be nice if our stakeholders could more easily raise tickets on their own, but the account for ThoughtSpot Community is sometimes a barrier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ad hocs are facing a bottleneck in our limited number of analysts, but growing number of members of other teams. The benefit has already been that curious stakeholders can dig into what they want and that's everyone from developers to product managers to sales team members.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Involve key stakeholders in the demo stage of the process so that you have a glimpse of how to drive adoption and how easy it will be to get the answers different stakeholders seek.
