Good Platform, But Room for Improvement

What do you like best about the product?
A great platform, I love how easy it is to navigate the platform. Your customer service is also very active. I could remember once I had an issue on the site. I reached out and got swift response and the issue was resolved
What do you dislike about the product?
None I would say for now. As long as I'm getting the value for which I'm onboarded then everything else feels good to me on the platform, as so far so good it's like that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Enabling customer Data Orchestration Across the entire Data Supply Chain.

Data is the heart of modern day business and that's the problem your solving by bridging the gap of Data driven decision making for businesses

What do you like best about the product?
I love that Tealium Customer Data Hub integrates all of our user data into one centralized place. This is incredibly valuable since we use various tools, and having a system that connects seamlessly to our CRM and website simplifies everything. It's a relief to have all this data cohesively unified, as it streamlines our processes significantly. I also appreciate the flexibility and real-time capabilities of Tealium, which are essential for delivering timely and relevant marketing communications such as onboarding flows, ads, and emails. Moreover, Tealium's ability to sync real-time user data to marketing tools and send enriched data to Google helps us create more relevant ads and personalize our marketing efforts effectively.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it takes time to get comfortable with all the features, which can be challenging for new users. The initial setup of Tealium Customer Data Hub was also not easy and took up more of our time than anticipated. Additionally, a more friendly pricing model would be beneficial, as the current pricing feels a bit high.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tealium Customer Data Hub unifies our customer data, solving irrelevant ad issues and enhancing real-time data delivery to Google. It streamlines data management by connecting to our CRM and website, simplifying onboarding flows, ads, and email synchronization.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the real-time data processing capabilities of Tealium Customer Data Hub, which allow me to update profiles and audiences instantaneously. This feature enables me to trigger actions immediately after a customer performs an important action, such as abandoning a cart or displaying high intent, which is incredibly valuable. I find the platform's ability to handle fragmented customer data effectively as an indispensable asset. What do you dislike about the product?
I find the interface of Tealium Customer Data Hub to be quite complex, with numerous sections, settings, and nested menus, making it difficult for new users to navigate without structured onboarding.

I use Tealium Customer Data Hub to solve fragmented customer data issues, enabling real-time data processing and instant action triggers, like when a customer abandons their cart.

Real time data collection and activation, strong data governance and Privacy. Extensive integrations, it’s support more than 1000 pre-built integrations
What do you dislike about the product?
Complex setup and learning curve, ealium is highly flexible, but that also makes it complex to configure at first.
Setting up data layers, connectors, and rules requires technical skill — often needing developers or trained specialists.
Non-technical marketing teams can find the interface and logic (like enrichments or event streams) overwhelming

What do you like best about the product?
I love how Tealium Customer Data Hub has become the backbone of our customer data infrastructure over the past two years, centralizing data that was previously scattered across different systems. I appreciate the seamless integration with other tools in our marketing and analytics ecosystem, which has been invaluable. The data layer management and real-time event stream capabilities are incredibly powerful, providing a centralized and consistent structure for all our customer and event data across web, mobile, and connected systems. Although the initial setup wasn't plug and play, it has been well worth the effort due to the platform's flexibility and scalability. This has allowed us to make changes quickly and confidently as our data needs evolve.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the user interface (UI) of Tealium Customer Data Hub in need of modernization. Although the platform's functionality is excellent, certain workflows, like setting up complex enrichments or building new event specifications, are not as intuitive as they could be. I believe introducing a visual workflow builder, such as a drag-and-drop canvas for constructing event streams, enrichments, and data flows, would make the setup process much more intuitive.

This vast array of integrations simplifies the process of connecting different tools and enhances the platform's overall utility and performance.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the Tealium Customer Data Hub's steep learning curve and high cost. There are performance issues, especially when scaling up, with some users reporting lag and slow performance during high volumes of data processing. Real-time processes can be affected when handling large datasets. Additionally, customer support can be slow to respond during critical issues, leading to delays in ticket resolution and a lack of proactive assistance. Another downside is the limited customization in reporting features and change management.

The fact that it allows business to segment customers into dynamic audiences based on behaviours and attributes is something I like the most and I think business of all sizes needs

The initial implementation and ongoing cost is kind of substantial which includes expenses for software licensing, hardware, customization and employee training
