What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, multi-dimensional functionality, Robust & Fast which will enable your Analytics requirement fulfilled. You will get more time on Analysis than the Data Input.

There are very few thing which can be disliked. So easy to forget those.

Real time OLAP analytics on big data... WITH WRITEBACK. Amazing web and excel user interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
This is the best kept secret in the industry. Everyone should be aware of this product.

Speed in viewing data, ability to continue using Excel to perform analysis. Ability to present in a web tool and Excel the same report

The planning analytics platform has inproved much for the last years. The Workspace is a must go for the application, because it has every thing that you need to develop, use and manage the applications.
It is a very robust platform used mainly budget and forecasting process, but you will fore sure find other uses for the planning capabilityes.

In some point, the platform get a little bit messy with all the tools that you coul use such as performance modeler, architect, pax, cafe, etc. now its getting better.

Basicaly budget and forecasting process, but you will fore sure find other uses for the planning capabilityes.

The platform is very good, and it deliver very rich visualizations as well as it is a very flexible soluction.

Ease of use, user friendly interface and good documentation.

Does not integrate well with our existing TM1 platform. Having to redo all existing templates.

Planning and forecasting at the project level. Need user friendly templates that easily integrate with current platform.

Find an experienced partner to help with the implementation
Good performance but requires some skills to develop
What do you like best about the product?
OLAP engine has good performance if the developer knows what she/he is doing. You are able to do all kinds of stuff with TM1/PA, therefore you can create and combine all kinds of different models into one holistic planning solution.
What do you dislike about the product?
Age has started to show in the product, although workspace has been a good addition of late. Lack of version control and modern development tools is bit of a drawback especially for new developers. If you have gotten used to Architect, it's not that big of a problem.

Financial planning, budgetig, forecasting, HR planning, Sales and operations planning. OLAP technology is a blank canvas and you can model things the way you want.
