Ninja made "work from home" quick and easy

  • November 23, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
NInja makes it possible for us to monitor, support, and secure our end points from anywhere. During 2020's push to send workers home Ninja allowed us to enforce policy, deploy new software, and keep a tight inventory. It's powerful but intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Ninja has a lot going on under the hood, and a lot of features are still in development or are being refined. We've encountered occasional bugs (always in the UI) but never anything major.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Remote support and compliance have never been easier for us. Ninja changed how we support our office staff and significantly increased our options for supporting field staff around the country.

NinjaOne review by a Ninja CAB member and user

  • November 18, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Ninja is an easy-to-use, easy-to-view RMM platform, its features are rich, and its useability is very functional. They listen to their community and their customer advisory board.
What do you dislike about the product?
Ninja is very young in terms of how its time in the market, and as such, it lacks some features as of now that a lot of other RMM's have, how every their road map is extensive, and has those features on track for future releases.

The two areas that need some major work is the Dashboard and the Reporting. Those are the only let-down points for us on day to day use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Remote management, monitoring, patching, and maintaining of client workstations and servers. Ease of management and deploying of scripts and software packages, Ninja makes this a breeze.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend Ninja if you are looking at getting on board with a company that listens to their community, is constantly working on improvements and adding value to the products they offer. If you are willing to forgo some of the features that have not made it to the live version of their product just yet then NinjaOne is the product for you.

Great solution to centralize many things! (Inventory, patches management and monitoring)

  • November 17, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
NinjaONE is a great solution that we use for many things. It is one of the essential tools that we currently use. Here are some features we like and use every day for most of my team :

- OS and software Patches (Windows and Linux)
- Inventory and warranty lookup
- Remote controls
- Activities for devices such as last login, installed software, etc.
- Agent available for Windows, Linux, and Mac Desktop and Servers
- Basic monitoring tools for CPU/RAM/Disk, events.
- Backup solution (file/folder and Image level) for Workstation
- Backup for O365

We currently have over 325 devices in Ninja, and it helps us be proactive and ensure security compliance.

In most case, working their support team is easy and they reply quickly to support ticket.

I have been a Ninja customer for over 7 years. There were many features and options added over the last couple years; a great ROI.
What do you dislike about the product?
For our current needs there is nothing in particular we dislike.

The only thing I may want to bring is about Windows patches. We had a couple issues with approval/denied patches. To be more specific we had blocked Windows 11 many PCs were upgraded.

We had few impacts so overall it's OK. Long story short, Windows OS upgrade may need some work for the approval process to allow or block the installation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problems we solved in the last 3 years are as follow:
- Have a centralized patch management solution that is also compatible with remote workers
- Fully automate our inventory update with our ITSM tool
- Have a basic monitoring tool enabled for all of our Dev systems (CPU/RAM/DISK)
- It monitors our production system as well; this is kind of a fail-safe for us
- Improve our ticking and alerting system; we've integrated Ninja to Pagerduty and our ITSM tool

Most helpful Tool in IT

  • November 15, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Things just make sense. If I want to run a script on a machine, I just go to the machine and select the script I want to run. It's rare to find a tool that is so intuitive and helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like to see even more out-of-the-box app installs available. There is also a few-day delay between a release of an update for application and when NinjaOne releases it to their systems.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our onboarding process for creating machines is almost completely automated thanks to NinjaOne. Having a cloud based replacement for SCCM was a must. Not only did NinjaOne replace our need for SCCM but it was also easier and more reliable than Intune (Enpoint) by Microsoft.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for a cloud based support tool, this is it. Tie in TeamViewer with it and you have a winning package. All of our IT and end users have been very happy with NinjaOne

An up and coming modern RMM

  • November 14, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The support from the company. They listen and always strive to resolve your issues. The roadmap also has some good features coming up as well as ones that have already been released. It is moving with the times and changing needs of MSPs
What do you dislike about the product?
The dashboards are something that needs a massive overhaul We need access to the info straight away. It needs the ability to have custom widgets so we can display what we want to see instead of having to use a 3rd party like brightgauge.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The easy of use. The ability to react to issues no matter where we are due to the mobile app. The automation of tasks so we can reallocate our time to other important tasks at hand.

Reliable, constantly improving RMM platform

  • November 12, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The development team has done a great job at introducing new features while keeping a simple and responsive UI. I've never felt like a new feature was cumbersome to implement. It has been perfect for our shop to go from no RMM to something that quickly helped reduce workloads and improve service to our clients.

The scripting engine works very consistently and allows us to automate innumerable tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
The reporting engine is a bit weak and we make very little use of it, although there is supposed to be a refresh released on the next version.

I decided against using the backup platform until it matures a bit more.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's an RMM platform, so it solved stuff that other RMMs solve. Each release introduces more automation functionality, and their remote tools get a little better. They are also in the early days of adding features that I hope will make some other systems that I use (Zendesk and ITGlue) obsolete. With every update they release, I have found myself and my technicians using the product more and more.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
When we looked at other RMM options, it was striking how simple and clean the UI and setup process was. If you don't have a dedicated "RMM guy" at your computer, check these guys out.

NinjaOne delivers

  • November 12, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Patch management for software, antivirus, and windows in the same place is great. You get that single solution that also incorporates remote access options.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love to see some improvements to software patching, it works great for the select programs in supports. I would like to see that list grow though.

Also, I would like Splashtop remote access to allow multiple technicians to connect to the same machine at once.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having confidence machines are fully patched and the proof available to give to auditors if needed.

Used almost every other RMM, Ninja is our favorite!

  • November 12, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Ninja is such an awesome, fast, secure RMM and platform. We have been using it for about 7 years and it keep getting better. I did my first G2 review of it in 2021, then updated in 2023, and now again in 2025. Everytime there is more to talk about! Not only it is the best for the main things you use an RMM for, Remote Management and Moniroting, but its the best at Patching, at getting in quickly to resolve an issue, and most of the time we have automated scripts set to resolve issues as the come up first. Now they have become much more of a platform, Ninja now has Full Image based Backup, they have aquired DropSuite, the best SaaS Backup, so that exciting and so much more to come, MDM for Apple iPhones and iPads, Android's, and macOS devices. The integrations work super well, we now use Halo and the integrations between Halo and Ninja is spectacular, the best of any two platforms even though they are not under the same ownership. We Love Ninja, so happy to give them a glowing review, not just because of thier product, but also thier team is so great! Our rep Maggie is amazing, and everyone from support, to product (so many new awesome additions) to even Jonathan in Community is amazing! More of us in the community need to be using Ninja.
What do you dislike about the product?
Reporting could improve, but its getting better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
So much time saved, love how updates and patching works.

Powerful yet easy to use ever expanding platform.

  • November 11, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of finding information within the platform and plethora of integrations.
What do you dislike about the product?
The TeamViewer integration has had historical issues. Once they moved to a more integrated platform with Teamviewer, there have been fewer problems.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automation using the built in scripting tools has reduced our need to touch the endpoints resulting in less time to keep systems online and operational.
