Snappy Remote Control and Patch Management, But Tedious Rollout Process

  • October 28, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
snappy remote control, device profiles, patch management, competent CSM
What do you dislike about the product?
daily login (give me push auth, please), tedious to roll out one by one to PCs, non-core features are rudimentary
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As an MSP it can be challenging to manage a multitude of models with specific OS settings. NinjaOne simplifies this by giving us a single tool that works across diverse customer IT estates.

All-in-One Management Hub That Simplifies MSP Workflows

  • October 27, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The number of tools accessible in one centralized hub for management is excellent. This is a management and monitoring system that we use daily for our clients. As an MSP for many clients, this makes serving our customers much simpler. With alerts, automations, scripts, and custom fields, it allows us to easily find information about devices and keep up to tabs with their health. The areas we most commonly implement with our organizations are RMM, endpoint management, and patching. We've also started getting into some other services, such as MDM and NinjaOne Connect. Each of these are easy to implement across the board once learned. Whenever assistance is needed, customer service is quick to chime in and elevate to qualified technicians as needed in a given scenario.
What do you dislike about the product?
Overall, NinjaOne is a very effective solution for MSP technicians such as myself with Acruity. There are only a couple of issues that I have noticed when using Ninja. One is with Apple patching. Patching with Apple devices (MacOS, iOS) has been a bit inconsistent in terms of success and in terms of statuses in Ninja. When reviewing patching activities in Ninja, we've noticed sometimes that the status of whether or not updates are successful is unknown. One more thing is that I wish there was a bit more visibility to MSPs for errors/alerts that come up for endpoints. It feels like sometimes, NinjaOne representatives are able to pull more information from the back end that we are unable to access. Having more visibility into issues would save both MSPs and support time. However, if there is a security reason for this information not being generally available to MSP technician accounts, that makes sense.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping track of a multitude of client devices without a centralized management system is nearly impossible. Having NinjaOne allows MSPs the ability to track and manage hundreds of devices efficiently and thoroughly. With Ninja, we are able to respond to offline server alerts immediately as we get them. We are able to review patching on endpoints and address computers that have patching failures. When commands need to be run on a machine, but a user is active on said machine, Ninja allows us to run those commands in the background without user interference. Ninja saves time for both us and the client, while also lowering the number of interruptions.

Versatile like a Ninja

  • October 27, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Versatility. It allows us to utilize this platform in many different ways. It usually plays a part in most of our projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
The agents. If there's an error when installing the agent or service, it can be a real pain to remove the agent. Support has provided scripts and such to remove bad agents but never worked properly. It wasn't a user friendly task either.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our entire team uses this platform for a number of reasons:
1. Patching
2. Automation
3. Monitoring
4. Deployments

  • October 27, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The platform is easy to use, with minimal complexity, making it straightforward to manage endpoint systems and provide seamless support to users.
What do you dislike about the product?
The remote control with the built-in feature experienced some difficulties connecting to systems on different networks. However, they offered alternative solutions until the issue was resolved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This solution truly addressed our primary challenges in managing IT infrastructure. It provided easy access to domain control devices and allowed us to clearly see vulnerabilities, apply patches, improve systems, and monitor end-of-life status, among other important tasks.

Excellent RMM and Support

  • October 27, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The RMM/Remote Access is very good and the technical support is quick and efficent.

I also believe it is one of the easier RMM platforms to use as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
We had some licensing issues due to the wording of the SKUs. I think they need to clarify the difference between RMM and Remote Access since they are bundled together when talking about RMM.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
N1 is solving patch management problems and UAC issues with windows. Remoting into a users pc is easy to do.

Stable RMM with small flaws

  • October 27, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The standard templates are very well designed and cover most server requirements regarding measurable values. For more detailed queries, there is the possibility to perform more individualized checks, for example, via scripts. The ticket system is easy to use and intuitively structured. The asset management also works for devices that are not directly monitored. The installation of the agents is straightforward. Particularly noteworthy is the account manager, who shows genuine interest, addresses the problems, and actively seeks solutions. The response times for tickets are also very good (significantly better than, for example, N-able or Connectwise). The RMM is used daily, especially for ticketing. Existing structures did not need to be adjusted for ticketing, as it could be seamlessly integrated.

The mobile app is limited in functions but stable.
Stable documentation and introductions to topics (see Dojo)
What do you dislike about the product?
The user interface initially appears somewhat convoluted, but over time one gets used to it and recognizes the underlying logic. For more complex automations, there is fundamentally the possibility to implement them, although this is mainly done through scripts. Reports are available, but they offer only limited flexibility. In comparison, N-able, for example, provides significantly more detailed reporting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before the introduction of Ninjaone, we did not have an RMM in use, which meant we were practically in the dark when server issues arose, and the distribution of patches on client devices often lagged behind. With Ninjaone, we were able to completely solve this problem, as the integrated patch management automatically handles the updates. Additionally, we can now retrieve numerous device information directly from the RMM and resolve many issues in the background without disturbing the users.
