The experience was great would do it again
What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity and the way the application was easy to use
What do you dislike about the product?
Could not say there was much to complain about
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Remote support since we do so much of it
Extremely user Friendly
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful thing about NinjaOne is how user friendly it is. I have found it very easy to use and navigate through even when I first started with endpoint management.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think tha the "details" section under each device needs some work, while the information given about the CPU is great, the information given for the Memory is lacking, I can't easily tell the speed of the RAM or the type. Which makes matching customer systems more difficult.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
NinjaRMM gives great insight into a lot of the "issues" occurring on systems. It also holds information on the last user log in, which makes it easier to track whether or not the device is in use.
Works well for basic PC management
What do you like best about the product?
It was pretty easy to get up and running / deployed in our organization. Cost was competitive compared to other RMM solutions we looked at.
What do you dislike about the product?
Features were a lot more limited for managing Macs than PCs. The management software itself also has some bugs on Macs that need to be worked out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We need a tool to manage and support our computers in a remote-first environment.
It's a little confusing at the start, however you can on board without training
What do you like best about the product?
Clean UI - Easy to use, very agressively priced over other RMM solution. Able to onboard without expenses like training, down time e.t.c
What do you dislike about the product?
A few very basic features present in other RMMs are missing. The first is hardware inventory, example would be the printers that were installed, the driver it was using and the PORT details. This feature helps to rebuild a computer that failed.
Reporting seems very light.
S1 Integration has a lot to be desired
No BACKING UP OF NAS... only backup TO NAS
No Office 365 Backup... Common issue
No SQL/Exchange granular backup..
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Seems like there are alot of things suggested via the Feature request and not a lot of them are coming back to us. To be honest, I can't think of a new feature added since we came on board that has changed or made our usage easier/better... however we have only been on board just on 5 months.
Ninja is very good for to window workstation but guy's need to improve for Linux and Mac devices.
What do you like best about the product?
Managing windows and push based notifications
What do you dislike about the product?
Ease of implementation and customer support
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Patch management and easy to manage devices and policies.
Helps to monitor my client’s computers and support computers, but UI needs improvement
What is our primary use case?
We use the solution to monitor the client’s computers and to support computers in small offices.
What is most valuable?
The most relevant feature is the monitoring, which provides built-in tools for sending commands. The TeamViewer bot option also works well as part of the scripting. NinjaOne has had some initial issues with the remote connection. NinjaOne is the cheapest way to connect to Azure remotely because a TeamViewer subscription for a year is far more expensive.
What needs improvement?
The graphical user interface could be improved. It is not very pleasant to look at, and it can make the experience of setting up and monitoring computers all day boring. The interface could be more user-friendly and visually appealing. For example, when I look at the PeerOS interface, it has changed a lot over time. It is now much more user-friendly and visually appealing. I am tempted to switch to PeerOS because of its interface. However, NinjaOne is better in terms of usability and features.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been using NinjaOne for four years. We are using the latest version of the solution.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
The product is highly stable. There were no logging and remote connection issues. Everything works as it should. Sometimes, when I send a command to a remote computer, I don't know whether the command is taking effect. This is an issue for me sometimes on Teamviewer. The command is executed on my side but not on the client side.
I rate the solution’s stability a nine out of ten.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
Scalability is excellent because it is sold per device. When you sign up, they give you x number of users, and you have to buy into a certain number of devices. For example, I had to buy 50 devices when I signed up. If you exceed 50 devices, then there's another tier.
The downside is that it can be costly if you only come in with 10 computers. For example, if you want to use NinjaOne but only have 10 computers, you must sign up for 50 computers.
There are 25 computers connected to this solution.
I rate the solution’s scalability an eight out of ten.
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
I used TeamViewer for core remote monitoring, but it was expensive. I wasn't aware of remote monitoring, and all the IT specialists were changing. I did a lot of on-site support and credentialing with customers who paid me a retainer. Before SolarWinds took over, they were doing roadshows in the country, and that's how I got exposed to the managed services model and how the market had been changing. The pricing model was insane at the time. They've adjusted their pricing models to be more affordable now.
How was the initial setup?
The initial setup is straightforward. There's nothing complicated about setting up NinjaOne. You can either tell them whether you want an agent for a specific company, or you can set up the companies first and then add agents to them. Whichever way you choose, it's pretty easy. I've had no issues and haven't dealt with support at Ninja.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
I rate the solution’s pricing a five out of ten, where one is the lowest and ten is the most expensive.
What other advice do I have?
If you are new to the MSP space and need an easy-to-set-up that can grow with your business and licensing, NinjaOne is an excellent option.
There is a concern about the slow UI. There is no clear visibility on whether a command is being issued by the user or the client, which takes longer than expected.
Overall, I rate the solution a seven out of ten.
Very simple rmm
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best is that it is extremely easy to pick up and learn while at the same time being super powerful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Historically I was not a huge fan of the backups as it took multiple meetings with support to get image backups working however now they work great
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ninja makes it extremely easy to manage a large amount of endpoints in most aspects
Seems like a solid RMM with a few glaring flaws
What do you like best about the product?
Ninjaone has a simple glass panel, making it easy to navigate and control what you do inside the program.
What do you dislike about the product?
NinjaOne seems to be focused on patching but less so with programs. Other RMMs that have advanced program libraries beat them out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
NinjaOne helps us update things on our network in a semi-decent time frame.
NinjaOne has everything we need in a CRM at this stage.
What do you like best about the product?
Script and document management are really helpful features of Ninja. The process of remoting into a computer on the network is seemless. The application is fast with quick response.
What do you dislike about the product?
The least helpful thing about NinjaOne is the lack of connection to asset management. If NinjaOne could connect to our Asset Mangement program, it would be very helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
NinjaOne is helps solve the issue of where to document different aspects of our network. NinjaOne makes it easy to record changes and updates to our equipment and network.
NinjaOne Review
What do you like best about the product?
It provides centralized management of our client endpoints
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be difficult to manage some features and there is no good remote access tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allowing us to manage our client endpoints in a single pane of glass.
