The interface is simple so you can use the tasks for just about any task. It is easy to assign tasks and keep searchable records of those tasks. The Youtube tutorials are great to get the most out of the application.

You may want to turn off the notifications, but it is purely dependent on your particular style.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you don't need something as robust as Salesforce, this is great for small to mid-size companies that need an enterprise solution.

Totally like Wrike!
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use. Wrike makes it easy to navigate around the different parts of Wrike. Going from Dashboard to Timeline view to Workload view is simple. I like the file directory structure which I'm used to since I'm a PC user.
The interface is very intuitive and not cumbersome like a lot of other clunky PM tools out there. And it's definitely a plus that it is visually appealing and looks great for a PM.
Creating new projects and tasks are simple since we utilize templates (projects with common tasks that have been laid out, including dependencies, that are set to deferred).
Making adjustment and changes to the projects are also really easy.
Communicating via Wrike is also a huge benefit as it helps us to track our internal comments and statuses and keep in a central place. We utilize the Outlook plugin which is nice to see as someone comments or updates a task that I get an immediate notification.

What do you dislike about the product?
No software of system is without flaws and even though I really like Wrike, there are some things I wish would get improved. I would like a better way to print out projects. Although I'm glad they implemented printing from the timeline view, I would like the option to print from the Table view as it list projects hierarchically, so I can quickly print that out for status meetings. Instead the only option is to export it.
I also would like the ability to choose folder locations more easily when I'm using the Change Folders option. If the folder location I want to select is nested a few folders deep, then I have to literally type out the folder location, especially if the destination folder has a common name, e.g. /Client/Creative/Website Development/Phase 1/. I would recommend an auto fill system (which it does, sort of) where as you are typing from the root folder it auto fills, and if you hit enter it will auto fill and still allow you to continue typing. Currently it auto fills and you cannot continue typing in case you need to drill down to sub-folders.
I also wish you could add dependencies when the tasks are set to Deferred. Since we use "templates" a lot, as I'm making adjustments to my template projects I have to make the tasks Active, add dependencies and then set back to Deferred.
Not being able to drag tasks while in Timeline view to different folders would be a great improvement.
There also seems to be a bug when you are in List view and you want to use Advanced Rescheduling, when you shift dates, sometimes the dependencies get lost and the dates for tasks shifted incorrectly.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing several projects for multiple clients. Team communication and collaboration within the projects. Resource planning for projects. Making sure we deliver our projects on time.
The benefits realized is having a robust tool that is easy to use, was easy to implement within our company and more importantly, was well adopted by the team and is being used for what is intended for. Ultimately it's helped us manage our projects and keep communications centralized on the projects.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
They have really good tutorials.
Very modular
What do you like best about the product?
How flexible it is. It's like building blocks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Bug tracking isn't great. And time tracking and budgeting don't work for us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it for project management among the team. It's helped us track what needs to get done, and what the status of projects and tasks is.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The problem with a lot of project management systems is that you are forced into their structure. While is so modular you can pretty much make it into what you need it to be.
Great product
What do you like best about the product?
We use this as a business tool for all our project management. The one thing we needed out of a task management app was sub tasks and this is has it. It's easy to use too. A great product.
What do you dislike about the product?
The gantt chart. I don't find it easy to use and view.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
internal task management and this tool has helped us achieve goals we have set for ourselves.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great task management tool
The best solution I have found for staying on track
What do you like best about the product?
They seem to improve every day and increase their integration with other apps and extentions all of the time. I seem to discover an easier way to not only keep me on track, but also actually use the software every day. From setting up tasks from my email, to creating dependecies and occurences, and now the new app, it's all there.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much. Theres a maximum to the number of recurring tasks you can create, and sometimes in certain browsers tasks seem to load up slowly, but I think that is more of a function of my Company's secure network than the fault of Wrike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Efficiency, staying on track, and not letting things slip through the cracks! When we do our semi-annual Marketing Team off-site we're able to print reports, go through our progress, but also identify backlogged/overdue tasks that we need reprioritize.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do you have trouble staying on track with tasks or with monitoring your efficiency, or your team's efficiency? Well then Wrike is for you. It's great for collaboration, especially if not all of your team members work in the same space (or if many of you travel/work from home/outside consulting. Even if you do all work in the same office, it is a great resource to manage all of your tasks. For every weekly meeting we will pull it up to see where we are in group tasks and to also open up files that need to be reviewed by the team. It is great!
Wrike Team Management
What do you like best about the product?
The platform is very easy to use. It is easy to create new tasks, assign them to another team member, and follow-up on outstanding tasks. I love how easy it is to navigate through the platform. I like how it reminds me of my daily tasks by emailing me my tasks for the day. I also am aware that there is a mobile app, and although I have not had the need to use it, I am glad that I have that option when I am on the go.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like that I cannot set my view to daily. It groups reoccuring items all together so that I see all my future items everyday. I would prefer a daily view instead. Unless I can change the view and I haven't figured out how.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wrike helps with project management. From a management perspective, it is easy to go in an see what others are working on.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give the user options on how they would like to display their tasks. I prefer daily. :)
Incredibly impressed
What do you like best about the product?
By far the ease and intuitive nature of the time-tracking function is my favorite Wrike function. I finally feel confident that the amount of time spent on design projects is accurate and can be used by those who need to make decisions based on this information.
I am also impressed by the ease of navigation, the ability to tag and the dashboard view of what is due when.

What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice if the time tracked on subtasks could be reflected in the hours of the umbrella task.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a graphic designer, accurate tracking of time is an important function that has previously been painful. Wrike has made keeping accurate track painless.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I believe that our department -- Marketing and Communications -- and the Graphic Design team have both benefitted from using Wrike. From what I understand based on manager comments, it has met their needs as well.
Opened our enterprise to new communication success!
What do you like best about the product?
I like tagging people in the comments section. A great way to highlight the responder.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were more color options for folders.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaboration overseas has become much easier. We can also track our projects much better now.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would sign up for Wrike if you need to track multiple teams with multiple projects. If there isn't that much work, a simpler PM tool might be better.
best collaborative project management system out there
What do you like best about the product?
I've been using wrike in my company for the past 1.5 years, and I love it.
I've gotten great customer service responses from them, incorporated them into our company's Intranet using their API, and have managed countless projects successfully through them.
user management is a breeze, document sharing is great, and the built in version control can really help track changes easily.
I've found 2 bugs in their (beta) API, and both were fixed very fast, with great communication with Art, the customer support liaison.

What do you dislike about the product?
The ONLY caveat I have with wrike is that they don't have ANY way to associate cost with any task or project. but, I find that's not needed on most of my projects anyway.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
it's very easy to share projects with other members of the team, and to see where the project is using the gantt chart. imagine moving away from file version (i.e. 'overview v3.4.doc), since everyone uses and shares the same file - you can always access previous version, but there's only 1 (recent!) version of the file.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
if cost projection isn't a need for you, there's no better collaborative project management system i've found, with a better UI/UX

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it is easy to get lost in the interface when trying to find a specific task. Need to get users to put in complete information for each task.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our business problem before moving to Wrike was real time updates. We were using Microsoft Project for our team project management tool and would regularly only check it once a week. On our team we had only one person who was managing Project. As we added Mac users it was important for us to be able to allow them to access our project management tool so we needed to move towards a SaaS solution. With Wrike we get real time updates and collaboration and communication amongst the entire team.
