My experience with Wrike
What do you like best about the product?
It's user friendly and nicely designed. I never have issues with integration.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not sure if I am using it wrong, but with the free subscription, it is hard to keep up with pending assignments and reviewing where my team is. There are a lot of moving parts that I cannot keep up with and have no idea to use.

Great project management software in the cloud!
What do you like best about the product?
Good for dispersed teams working on project together.
Good for working with outside consulting firms or consultants. Gives them an easy way to participate in projects updates without complicated access setup.
Easy to use interface.

What do you dislike about the product?
Has good freemium tier.
Not in love with the per user per month pricing. Could really use a 2nd tier of use with read-only access.
Would like to be project pricing sold by the # of project bundles; 10, 20, unlimited.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Might want to also review asana, jira, aha! and basecamp.
Great Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to have collaborators and users in the same system so all project information is in one place. It helps eliminate having to search through emails for project information.
What do you dislike about the product?
The reporting features are a little difficult to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a system to help our team manage the work coming in.
Wrike Review
What do you like best about the product?
Wrike allows us to very easily break projects into small more manageable projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
We think the UI could be a little more user friendly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wrike helps us to identify bottlenecks that could potentially hold up our project's progress. The Wrike timeline helps our team very easily prioritize important tasks.
Project & Task Management Supreme
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to create templates for projects and task sets, with descriptions, team members and the date spread already in place.
What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile version is a bit limited, although the new version is greatly improved. Good for tracking tasks, to-do's but not for overall management (although this shouldn't really be expected as you need desktop real-estate to properly see information).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing projects, events, and task sets for myself and team in an efficient manner. Better management, more efficient, and the little things are never forgotten or missed.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Reviewed several systems and this works well for a small business and is priced accordingly.
Our Experience Using Wrike
What do you like best about the product?
Our team, and clients, have full transparency into the progress of our projects. Wrike has improved our ability to track KPIs, bottlenecks, backlogged tasks, and project goals.
What do you dislike about the product?
At this time, the capabilities are outstanding for every department within our organization.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking tasks, project management for our team (alongside the client's), creating timelines, implementing our production cycles are several problems we are solving with Wrike. All of the above have benefited both in internal tracking and automation efforts while improving our services to clients.
A next step in Project Management tools from Basecamp
What do you like best about the product?
There are Gantt charts, forms for collaborators to request projects, requests that are easily turned into projects, multiple ways to see and complete tasks, color coding, customizable work flows, and more. I am still learning some of the available tools. I am also finally able to eliminate a personal task-tracking spreadsheet by creating a private project in Wrike that I can share with only my supervisor.
What do you dislike about the product?
When sharing only a task (not an entire project) with a collaborator, you have to be very specific in the task name as the collaborator cannot see the project that the task is part of. I do wish they could see the project name at the very least, but we have learned to work around this. I also don't like that after assigning a task a date, it cannot be undone. Sometimes a task doesn't have a deadline, or it's so far in the future it hasn't been decided upon just yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to better organize our personal task lists, track time on billable projects, and track workloads on our designers. We're also able to set up request forms for different types of projects, and keep collaborators out of files and message threads that they don't need to be part of. We are also able to offer review tools within Wrike that allow collaborators to comment and draw on PDFs or images or videos uploaded to make changes easier to communicate and review.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If Basecamp isn't cutting it for you anymore and you need something with a few more features, but still easy to use with a friendly user interface and plenty of online help docs as well as plugins, then Wrike might be the right choice for you.
Okay
What do you like best about the product?
Makes it easy to collaborate with team members who work outside of the office or in different areas/time zones.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can have some strange functionalities with scheduling. Some times setting up projects or tasks takes longer than the actual project or task should, so it creates another thing to do just to check off the list.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Working with remote workers or team members in different areas is much easier with Wrike, and it's a great way to keep documents and records about projects to reference later.
Extensive tool, but looks leave something to be desired.
What do you like best about the product?
Very comprehensive functionality with a wide range of views. Folders for organization are handy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can be too much to digest and not visually appealing. Interface feels a bit clunky. The functionality, although comprehensive, can be too detailed and unnecessary. Sometimes things can get buried under all the folder. Users need to be trained across the org to use it to its full potential.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wrike is our central project and task management tool for the marketing function. There are many small details related to large scale projects and this enables us to map out each task against our pipeline.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Evaluate it thoroughly! Wrike has a lot to offer so really think about what is important you and your team.
Comprehensive Project Management Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Wrike is a very strong project management tool that can help track your team's overall workload and identify opportunities to improve productivity. I like that Wrike makes it easy to create new projects, assign tasks, and track progress. It also has cool reporting functions across projects, teams etc., and can be used to track time spent on different tasks for client billing purposes.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside to Wrike is how detailed it can get (which could be a positive depending how you look at it!). Because you can get so granular with Wrike, it is really important for your team to all be on the same page about how you create new projects and assign tasks to ensure consistency across the board.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were trying to solve the problem of task management across teams since different people worked on various projects, and there was little transparency into actual workload. We were also looking for a tool to help track time for client billing. The result of using Wrike was more accountability for projects, and increased transparency of overall workload across teams.
