Wrike for Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
Wrike is a deep and scalable project management system, but is not overwhelmingly complex and difficult to learn. The user interface is simple and intuitive, and tagging and assigning other users is very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The folder/project/task system could be clarified a bit. There are times when it's difficult to tell what is a project or a folder, or frankly what the difference is. It's easy to get overwhelmed by a large amount of items that look like folders or projects. It's fairly easy to create duplication of projects if you're not very careful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wrike allows our users to keep up with complex projects and tasks, and the status and stage of each of them. It allows for time reporting and to see the workload of our team.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Overall, Wrike is a great product. I've used Basecamp, Asana, 5pmweb.com, and I believe Wrike is the strongest product of the group.

Great Project Management System
What do you like best about the product?
Wrike is a fantastic project management system. The thing I like most is it's customizability and it's easy and intuitive user experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
About the only thing I dislike is that it doesn't have a native traditional calendar (it does have integrations and gantt chart views, but not the normal grid).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have made our department more self sufficient, plus we are able to collaborate better across departments.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
For firms using complex waterfall project management structures, just make sure you have your process worked out first before implementing any system.
Great customizability
What do you like best about the product?
This platform is very customizable to your team's needs
What do you dislike about the product?
Because it is so customizable, it can be difficult to set up. It has some little flukes that need to be resolved to make it more user friendly and to better integrate the Adobe extension. I wish it integrated with Outlook email so we have records of email conversations about projects and so that flagged emails become tasks in Wrike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This helps keep our projects on track and helps us adhere to timelines. It has also improved our communication about projects since we can give updates at any time.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There isn't much point in creating multiple task workflows as we were instructed. Create one task workflow with every possible workflow step. Some may not get used for every project but that's okay.
Excellent collaboration software. A bit pricey for small businesses.
What do you like best about the product?
Wrike takes all the best features of email, Slack and todo lists and combines them into a single Project Management tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a minimum number of users required, so even if you only need it for 2 or 3 people, you have to pay for the minimum of 5.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It gets very complicated to use a whole bevy of tools to communicate with team members. I can never remember if the information I need to refer back to was sent to me via email, Slack, Whatsapp, etc. Wrike allows you to create tasks and projects and tracks all the comments and discussions connected to each task and each project.

What do you like best about the product?
Wrike has changed forever the way I assign tasks to colleagues even to my boss. It is a polite and neutral way to remind people to do something and to have accountability of anyone responsability.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes tasks and subtasks are a little bit confusing and it takes some time to organize efficiently your workflow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Wrike, I avoid to use other social media or email to assign a task. We do not use any more emails, text messages or WhatsApp everything is in one place.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Wrike can solve any conflict and accountability problem. All the workflow and tasks are in one place, also for deadlines, it is great!

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy that Wrike allows me to collaborate with my team and easily tag them in projects. It also keeps me organized with workflow management to ensure on time completion of projects. It is very easy to use.

Could use a better system to archive projects

This is a great too for project management. If you are looking for an archiving system, this may not be it. However, it is great for managing projects and having access to completed/past products.

History tracking and ability to organize projects and sub projects
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd really like the system to proactively notify the next person in line on a project that they are now "up". The ability to sort the tasks I have assigned to me is also somewhat cluegy

We manage marketing project for 20+ clients. It helps us know what we need to get done by client and by person assigned.
Perfect tool for Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
Tracking the status of project from start to finish / ease of use.
What do you dislike about the product?
The endless email notifications depending on the amount of project collaborators can sometimes prove to be tedious

Its a great way to assign tasks to different teams and track progress of this
Solid experience on the low end
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite features of Wrike is that once you learn it, it's fairly easy to master. The interface is pretty simple and I can add tasks quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
When you add a task and assign it to someone, there's no confirmation it sent, and no send button, So you have to trust that it gets assigned and sent to the person you assign it to. It works, but it's a little odd to not have confirmation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing multiple clients/projects with distributed staff.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Basic set up is pretty easy, but I don't think you ned to try to get too fancy with it. I've enjoyed the free version for about a year because we're a small team.
Great tool for a Great Project Manager
What do you like best about the product?
I love the versatility to use wrike how I want to use it.
What do you dislike about the product?
People without great organizational skills to set it up well often find it has too many options, but if you have an awesome PM, it's great to tailor it toward your specific needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it to track our marketing team projects and campaigns. It's great for accountability, visibility for leadership, and archive purposes.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Utilize a wrike specialist to help understand how the system can work best for your needs. Roll out using a smaller portion of your workforce in testing mode before completely integrating your entire team. Make sure you have a great project manager to organize and follow through.
