Flexible, friendly tool with great community and support
What do you like best about the product?
Wrike is a flexible, robust tool that allows for a lot of customization. It's easy to use, and the training, training, and support are some of the best I've seen. New features are being rolled out frequently - they're very responsive to customer feedback, while still preserving a consistent experience and use of use.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is less supportive of Agile and software development; I think it's best suited for project management.
A thoughtful implementation matters in that you can easily develop too many blueprints and forms, but that's hardly the fault of Wrike - the flexibility is great overall. Having more pre-set templates might have helped to keep our proliferation of workflows, blueprints, etc.

Wrike has made work more visible across the organization, and helped to define workflows so that staff can concentrate on higher level activities. It has eased communications between and within departments, becoming the system of record for discussions, decisions, and approvals.

What do you like best about the product?
Wrike's open platform is a game changer. Their use of Custom Item Types helps us tailor the tool to our needs. Anything that needs tracking on is in here: tasks, milestones, projects, portfolios, vendor bookings/contracts, talent bookings/contracts, filming locations/bookings, account credentials, workstation availability, hardware availability, project roadmaps, strategic roadmaps, proofs/reviews/approvals, tactical workload charts, strategic capacity plans, budgets, estimates, time sheets, job numbers, knowledge bases, vacations, sprints, graphics lists, content plans, shoot schedules and master schedules (to name a few).
And all of this at company, department, team/subteam levels!

What do you dislike about the product?
The ONLY downside I can think of is - viewing all files from across the entire network (right now you can only view files in a dashboard from one location. Albeit, the team at Wrike is already underway on making this happen - so net net - no downsides!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wrike allows us to *easily* scale as the business grows.
Wrike makes it so easy to get work done
What do you like best about the product?
Wrike makes it so easy to collaborate and get work done. Although we did an accelerated implementation, our team was able to get up-to-speed fairly quickly and work without issues through the busiest time of the year. Our entire marketing organization works in Wrike daily, in sharp contrast to previously working in 4 separate systems.
From project requests to scheduling to actual collaborating and accomplishing work, we have really hit our stride and have been able to reduce total cycle time

What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't seen any downsides to using Wrike. We had some issues during the implementation of Wrike, but we realized that most of the issues were related to processes that had been put in place before we moved to Wrike. Once we made process and policy changes, the problems went away.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having our entire marketing department in Wrike has greatly increased collaboration and reduced time to market with our campaigns.
Very customizable tool with good features fpr project management but also some lack of features
What do you like best about the product?
Wrike is very customizable.
You should you know your workflow you want to implement in Wrike very well before. If you do so you can image this workflow very well in Wrike. It is very powerfull and I think can image nearly any workflow.
When introducing Wrike calculate a lot of work for this customization or use an experienced consultant for this.
The user forum is very good and Wrike always emphasis the importance of the forum.
The customer support is very good (fast and very willing to help).

What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the most basic features for project management are missing (which are standard in other tools). One example is the cost for materials or a time break for a task.
The roadmap for new Wrike features which are requested of a huge amount of users in the forum is sometimes (very friednly) ignored.
In the forum the solution for problems one user had is not posted, so that the next user asks the same question.

Wrikes slogan very well gives how we use it: "Wrike is the single source of truth."
This is the most important advantage: we have all tasks in Wrike. If you have this you have a very well overview: about all tasks, about the workload of peolple, about the status of projects. It works very well for multi project management then.
A little drwaback is the amount of work to impeent standard metrics for project management like burndown charts. You have to go into the programming of an analytics mode. But if you managed this it is a very powerful tool.
With Wrike we reduced our regularly coordination meetings by more than 50% (this is true if everybody is up to date in Wrike with all tasks compared to using multiple project plans in an offline project management environment).
Also the managers have now a very good overview of all their projects. If you implement the correct project structure in Wrike you can work with it starting from the bottom of the coworkers single task to the C-level view.
The workmanagement is one of the big benefits: all tasks are in Wrike and everything is reported in Wrike. So you fnd everything in a project in one place.

Wrike - making workload visible for your team
What do you like best about the product?
Having dashboards to view the workload of all team members and tracking the results and progress.
Customer support is available and they do their best to help clients. Software is constantly evolving, input from community seems to have an impact.

What do you dislike about the product?
We had some trouble with onboarding / deployment, as our consultant did not have much more experience than we had after viewing all the really good videos and doing excercises.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping track of your work
Collaboration in planning events
Having tasks in a calendar

Wrike on a Daily
What do you like best about the product?
I like how simplified it is where I know where I can navigate things.
What do you dislike about the product?
The new UI that does't feature automation. I would like a home screen back on for this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Task management
Clunky and not consistent
What do you like best about the product?
I love the Gantt chart and list views and reporting capabilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile app is a big pain point for me. It doesn't seem to function the same way as the desktop app and it's a huge hindrance for me that I can't start or edit file approvals from the mobile app. Wrike Lightspeed also now forces me to click more buttons than before to complete my work, making the process less efficient. I also wish the approval queue feature was consistent in dashboards. On a daily basis, I find that my colleagues either see approvals that don't exist, or cannot see approvals that were assigned to them in their dashboard approval queue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wrike solves the problem of intaking requests and easily scheduling them out. I like the markup feature for commenting on files.
Wrike is helping our team grow
What do you like best about the product?
I like the flexibility that the platform provides, plus the support we recieve from our Wrike customer success team. They also provide a lot of great resources for learning and communicate updates regularly and clearly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The possibilities are endless with how you customize your workflow and spaces in Wrike. That can make it hard to choose a best practice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wrike is helping us track work in a collaborative format, so there is greater visibility on the work we do
