My experience in n8n
What do you like best about the product?
First, I found n8n through a recommendation and was excited because it's open-source. I love that aspect because I can see how the community contributes and it's free, which is a big plus for me.
I remember seeing others automate tasks with n8n and was impressed. That motivated me to try it out. The interface was a bit intimidating at first, but I decided to dive in.
I started with a basic task, maybe something simple like connecting two apps. The workflow editor was user-friendly once I got the hang of it. I set up a trigger, added a node, and connected it to another service. It worked smoothly, which was really satisfying.
The documentation helped a lot when I got stuck. The community forums were also a great resource. I didn't have to wait long for responses, which kept my momentum going.
I'm excited to explore more advanced features. Maybe I'll try automating something more complex next. The fact that n8n can handle so many different apps is a big advantage.
I can see how this tool will save me time in the long run. It's been a positive experience so far, and I'm looking forward to learning more.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hi! I'm currently working on building my Ultimate Personal Assistant, inspired by Nate Herk's AI automation tutorials. I'm using Telegram to schedule my meetings, and n8n is playing a crucial role in automating this process.
Before using n8n, I had to manually handle meeting scheduling, which was time-consuming and prone to errors. I would receive meeting requests via Telegram, check my availability, update my calendar, and send confirmations—all manually. This not only took a lot of time but also increased the chances of double-booking or missing important meetings.
With n8n, I've automated this entire process. When someone sends a meeting request to my Telegram bot, n8n triggers a workflow that checks my availability, suggests possible meeting times, updates my calendar, and sends a confirmation back to the requester. This automation has been a game-changer for me.
The benefits I've experienced are numerous. First and foremost, it saves me a significant amount of time. I no longer have to manually switch between apps or worry about keeping track of multiple requests. This has allowed me to focus more on my work and other important tasks.
Secondly, n8n has reduced errors. By automating the scheduling process, I've minimized the risk of double-booking or missing meetings. My calendar is always up-to-date, and I receive notifications whenever there's a new meeting request or a change in someone's availability.
Another benefit is the ability to handle multiple requests simultaneously. Before, if I received several meeting requests at once, it could become overwhelming. With n8n, each request is processed automatically, ensuring that everything runs smoothly without any delays.
Additionally, n8n's open-source nature has been a huge advantage. It allows me to customize the tool to fit my specific needs, making it a cost-effective solution for my project. The n8n community and extensive documentation have also been invaluable as I navigate any challenges during my learning journey.
Overall, n8n has streamlined my meeting scheduling process, saved me time, reduced errors, and allowed me to focus on more critical aspects of my work. It's an essential tool in my journey to build an efficient and reliable Ultimate Personal Assistant.

Flexible, powerful, and self-managed
What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility it offers to automate complex processes without relying on external services. By being able to deploy it on our own servers, we have full control over the data, security, and performance. Additionally, the interface is intuitive and allows both technical and non-technical profiles to collaborate in the creation of workflows.

Some native integrations are still in beta phase or do not have all the advanced options. We have also had to manually adjust some aspects to fit our stack, but nothing particularly problematic.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of the initial challenges was ensuring data persistence and performance control when deploying it on our own servers. We also had to create some custom connectors because some native integrations were limited. However, this has allowed us to learn a lot about its architecture and fully adapt it to our needs.
How does this benefit us? It gives us total technological independence, savings on licensing costs, and a very quick response capability to internal changes. We have been able to automate key tasks without relying on closed solutions, with full control over security and scalability.
