Its amazing, the fact that we can self host it and have almost no limits
What do you like best about the product?
Well everything, its self hosted, we can create as many flows as the VPS allows. Can be connected to almost anything. Its great. I use it everyday and i also haev installed it to other people free of charge just so that they all can use it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really its really nice, there are frequent update which fixes the issues that might be there.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automation and also things that i used to do manualy i can do them with n8n and i dont have to pay expensive subsription to do it.
Product Good; Everything Else Bad
What do you like best about the product?
We use the product in multiple areas of our backend ecosystem. The product itself is quite useful and we want to invest more into n8n. Simple to use, simple to integrate etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
The support experience leaves a lot to be desired. Even worse, we’ve been actively trying to give them more money for weeks and can’t get a single person from sales to follow up. It’s incredibly frustrating to hit a wall when you’re trying to scale usage and invest further in the product. At some point they need to prioritize paying customers.
Get it together.
Get it together.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tying multiple endpoints/sources together for our SSP and other similar functions.
N8N Rocks!!!
What do you like best about the product?
I have been building agentic workflows with python for a while... its always time consuming...with N8N im able to build VERY fast POCs and if they work then transfer them into enterprise level code...with all my learnings in my pocket. I love it!
What do you dislike about the product?
not easy to attached to front end products for building proper POC's
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Fast workflows, experimentation.
Powerful Workflow Automation with Room to Grow
What do you like best about the product?
n8n's flexibility and no-code/low-code approach make it extremely helpful for automating complex workflows without needing advanced programming skills. The visual interface is intuitive, and the number of available integrations with apps like Google Sheets, Gmail, and APIs is impressive. Its self-hosting option and open-source nature are major upsides for privacy and customization.
What do you dislike about the product?
While powerful, n8n can be overwhelming for beginners due to its learning curve, especially when dealing with expressions and more advanced features. The error messages can sometimes be unclear, making debugging difficult. Also, real-time triggering (like webhook or time-based) can sometimes feel less reliable without manual testing or proper error handling.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
n8n helps automate routine reporting and follow-up tasks, such as checking daily report submissions from engineers and sending reminder emails. It reduces manual monitoring, saves time, improves communication, and ensures nothing is missed. It also helps automate purchase request tracking and alert systems, making our workflow more efficient and reliable.
The most versatile automation tool out there
What do you like best about the product?
Maybe a bit higher learning curve than 1 or 2 of the competitors, but sooo worth it! n8n is, by far, the best tool to handle your...well your everything, actually.
The support from the team and the other users are the best. How easy it is to integrate with supabase, Gmail, OpenAI to implement your ideas are top notch.

What do you dislike about the product?
Maybe.. and just maybe.. a steeper learning curve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gave us the tool needed for our backend integrations.
It’s glorious to behold.
What do you like best about the product?
I love how flexible and modular it is. You can make any automation want.
I love how it’s all essentially JSON. So it’s very easy to cut and paste and integrate into AI or anything else you have.
Build meta shit.
Build meta meta shit.
It’s damn powerful.
And to be frank, I’m just tapping into an ounce of its potential — so basically you’ll get something great out of it in a week. But then you can master thAe damn thing for years and get far not out of it.
It’s a gateway into a new way of thinking. As a business owner and as a designer. As a marketer. Automation is powerful.
And n8n makes it easy to turn your crazy Frankenstein ideas into working prototypes.

What do you dislike about the product?
Workflows aren’t always reliable.
You have to maintain them.
There’s a learning curve.
It’s not easy immediately — when workflows aren’t working and you can’t figure it out it’s frustrating.
Although I don’t know if that’s really a dislike. More of some of the pain you experience working through building stuff.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It makes automation — and by automation I mean the actual specific workflows that I really want to have automated — possible.
It solves the problem of “this workflow has nuance and I want to manage thst nuance” (but not really because I want the automation to manage that thanks.

For the community
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about n8n is its simple functionality from the start, motivating users to keep using the software.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some limitations when using javascript and python code for the moment.

Automation
Easy, simple and useful

The search feature helps a lot to find nodes that had changed the original name in new updates and to know new nodes that hadn't existed in the previous versions. This is my first experience with automation, and I self-hosted it on my PC. With the help of AI (Gemini), I managed to configure a very useful automation to help me start a new project that will unleash the full potential of my final personal objective.
The n8n forum is very friendly and easy to use, too.
It had a lot of nodes, and if you can't find any node that meets your needs, you can install programs like pandoc, poppler, and tesseract-OCR on your computer, then access them with the nodes CODE and EXCECUTE COMMAND.
With the node HTTP REQUEST, you can access cloud APIs like Adobe's API and others, but I didn't dive so much into this node because the local solutions met my needs.

What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice to have it localized to my native language, Brazilian Portuguese.
And it was hard to find the link to download and install the n8n version that can be used as self-hosted.
The official website only highlights the cloud server option.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I needed an automation process fast and reliable to convert some files for me when I put them in a designated folder.
Now I have a n8n self-hosted that convert documents, PDF and PNG-OCR to a format that I need to fully achieve my objectives.

The best platform to orchestrate and build automations with AI
What do you like best about the product?
Versatility, simplicity, nodes, community, open source.
What do you dislike about the product?
Little free license time for the cloud service. It is necessary to test the functionality connected to the internet for more time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The automation of processes and routine tasks
Very professional, flexible and growing so fast!
What do you like best about the product?
technical, concise but also flexible. What you don't find probably you can add it up. And the community is great!
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it's a little slow (or at least this is the impression). I'd add it up some control systems to better understand where to put your changes in order to increase speed. Also kinda logging and tech docs (like number of machine cycle each module, or language choose or whatever else I could decide while putting things together)

Orchestrating Ai engines, organizing workflows
